At what point does someone qualify as a 'heartthrob'? Because Pete Davidson manages to get really cozy with some seriously beautiful women and I don't get it.

Spotted leaving Kaia Gerber's apartment. So many questions. So many dry heaves.

It's a replay of the Ariana Grande relationship. Kaia strikes me as damaged and in need of help.

I think also that because he's not conventionally attractive and has some baggage, he might be projecting an injured baby bird image, and could be attracting caretaker types.

I don't see the appeal, but he seems to endear himself very easily to people - not just women, but friends and colleagues. He seems to be very socially outgoing, kind of up for anything and willing to have fun.

John Mulaney said he once called Pete up to see if he wanted to go see Steely Dan with him. Pete immediately said "Sure!" When they got there, Pete said, "Who is Steely Dan, is he a comedian?" He'd never heard of Steely Dan, but he got really into the music and stood up and everything, and then all of the middle-aged Steely Dan fans who had been quietly sitting quietly in their seats all got up too.

So I don't know...he's fun?

Wow, Pete is really making a career out of who he dates now. I don’t think he has much interest in comedy anymore. He seems to have mostly abandoned SNL.

He remains employed by SNL despite being possibly the most useless cast member ever. He missed the first few episodes of the season because he was off filming the new Suicide Squad movie. As far as I know, SNL cast members are not given the freedom to come and go like that. If they aren't able to film their outside projects on their days off, then they either leave SNL or don't do those outside projects.

And when he's there, he barely does anything. For some reason, he's given a spot on Weekend Update whenever he wants it, but that's all he does.

He seems to have Lorne Michaels in his pocket.

Fun fact: Lorne Michaels invited Pete to go to Jamaica with him and his family over the holidays back during Pete's first year on the show, which is jawdropping. Pete was 20 years old at the time, and was not displaying any troubles yet.

Like I said, he seems to endear himself to a lot of different people.
