I meant to start this one a lot sooner, but I kept forgetting about it.
So, talk about your high score In GTA:San Andreas, or how long it took you to beat Okami here.

Ahh, another place to show my geekiness. I've been playing Justice League Heroes and Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. I like JLH better, even though there are less characters on the screen and the game picks the characters you have to play as for most levels. MUA just feels like it's been done before, what with the 2 X-men Legends games. And my video game TC: I cried at the endings of Final Fantasy X and Kingdom Hearts.

It's a game I keep meaning to play again because I know I barely scratched the surface when I played it. I also have to give love to Suikoden III, which many fans of the Suikoden series don't like. I think it's the best in the series--added bonus: A female RPG lead who isn't dressed as a mage prostitute. She's a warrior in armor. WelshCorgiGirl, I think you and I are the only dorks here.

Fear not, for there is another geek on the board!
I'm hoping to get Final Fantasy XII for Christmas because 1)I heard it's really good and 2)I think the character Basch is kind of sexy.

Heh heh, that's okay. We'll revel in our own geekiness. The story of my life! I also want to admit that I loved playing the Lego Star Wars games. Granted, they're geared for little ones, but they are so much fun. And to get everything, you need an adult. I've been having a great time helping my 6 year old nephew get everything in the games. And I've got my fingers crossed for the Scarface game and Neverwinter Nights II for Christmas. Then I'll have to find time to play them. ETA: Yeah! Another one has fallen into the geek trap!

Welcome to the jungle, Goggle.
FF XII is a good game. It's pretty...large and stuff. And Basch is okay for me, but I'm particular to a certain Balthier.
Oh, and is Suikoden 3 really the worst in the series? Because I've played 4 and that wasn't too great...

Oh, and is Suikoden 3 really the worst in the series? Because I've played 4 and that wasn't too great... Oh, 4 was horrible. A lot of people think 3 sucks, but I thought it was great. It has a system where you play as three different characters in the first three chapters--essentially, you see the same story from three different viewpoints. I loved that, and there was actually a shocking plot twist. Then, you pick which of the three characters you want to play the last two chapters as. The battle system seemed to be what upset people the most, though. You have 6 characters in your party, and they're paired up. You decide their actions in pairs. So, if you have a fighter and a healer together, you can choose heal. The healer will heal, and the fighter will attack--but you really don't actually command the fighter to do that; it's automatic. I liked it, mainly because it made the battles quicker, but you really have to develop a strategy for boss battles. Wow, that was probably way to much info for a simple question. Sorry.

Yeah, that is wierd. Didn't Suikoden 5 also have up to 6 per team? I liked that system just fine, although the navel battles are pissing me off. That one big battle towards the middle of the game just kicked my ass so many times, that I gave up and played something else. I believe it was We Love Katamari.
you know, reading my own posts, I didn't realize I was that obsessed with gaming. Ah well.
