I've read all of his books. I love the Rebus novels, the exception being the one that was short stories. However, I haven't enjoyed his forays away from Rebus much. I would be so disappointed if he killed off Rebus.

I just finished the first Rebus and I'm hooked. I also just put the John Hannah series in my Netflix queue!

I think I'm the only one who enjoyed Rankin's non-Rebus books. I particularly liked Witch Hunt.
I've also really enjoyed the Rebus books, though, too, and have appreciated the fact that Rebus isn't always a likable hero.

I've read about 10 or 12 of his books; can't recall if any of them were non-Rebus or not. I enjoy reading Rankin; the last one I read was "Exit Music" - was that one supposed to be the final in the Rebus series?
