Well, Cecil is off for college.
The moment he left, Emily went to bed and Dominique tried to fix the microwave and electrocuted himself and died. Emily couldn't even plead for his life because she was sleeping!
Oh well. He served his purpose, and he was just a townie anyway.

I noticed when I'm creating sims, I mostly make women. And most of the men I have in the game were born in my families. Does anyone else make more women in the games then men?

I do. And I always tend to make women I'd admire. Unless I'm in the mood for a trash fest. I love making trailer park residents (and by that, I mean the stereotypical kind -- no offense to normal people who happen to live in trailer parks).

I practically always make women. GORGEOUS women. I have no time or patience for ugly Sims.
They're gorgeous, but they're not always admirable. I have no qualms about torturing my Sims or leading them down unfortunate paths--unlike my bf. His Sims always live in perfect houses and have perfect marriages and perfect kids. I think he may be working through some childhood issues with this game...

Does anyone else make more women in the games then men? I do - I just like creating them more. It's the reason why I had dozens of Barbies and, like, 2 Kens [not including my Brandon Walsh/Dylan McKay/Jordan Knight dolls]. Most of the clothes/hair that I DL are for female characters, so I have more to work with.

I like to make pretty male and female Sims. I do make more female then male, but I like them both. I enjoy creating large, multi-generational families. Try this website www.valdea.com/, it has many new NPC workers you can’t get in the game. ETA:I also have a tendency to frequently combine houses.

I always make pale-skinned redheads. Because it's the hair colour I wish I had naturally.

Well, I got started on my legacy challenge and it took 12 or so days but my 1st generation male finally got married and his wife is pregnant. My house sucks though. This is what it looks like. How do you get a non-player controlled character to propose to your sim? I know it's old fashioned but I want the female sims to take their husbands name (just so I don't have 1000 people with the same last name).

I'm not sure what a legacy challenge is. Can you explain it?

I know it's old fashioned but I want the female sims to take their husbands name (just so I don't have 1000 people with the same last name). I don't think an NPC will propose on their own. You can have your sim ask the NPC to move in with them. Then you can control the other sim, and have them propose. The male sim has to start the wedding though, if the female is going to take the husband's name.
