The same poster also reccomended it to another poster -- a thirteen year old kid with Aspergers. (Said kid is a very pompous fundamentalist, but still just a kid) OT but-I lurk at that site and holy shit, Curtis is only 13? WTF? His posts make him sound much older than that. I think he's possibly lying about his age.

I just finished a creepy book (Shadows With Eyes) by a writer named Fritz Leiber, which featured short stories by characters in the grip of paranoid delusions. It's really twisted. One story has a modern day witch hunter and another has a man who makes friends with electricity, thinking it has sentience (and nationalist loyalties--preferring to help Americans instead of "Communists.") It's keeping me up nights.

Oh, I haven't thought about Leiber for years! I read a lot of his stuff when I was in high school - science fiction and horror. He wrote some really creepy stories.

The book Shutter Island was disturbing to me -- the story itself, and the way it ended. To say more would spoil it.
Another one that was just ... odd, and the more I thought of it after reading it, was disturbing, is Eating the Cheshire Cat.
