I had a dream the other night that my brother was going to have a minor car accident. Sure enough that very morning he did. I have actually had a couple dreams involving someone else that has come true. But I'm not psychic. And I would never claim to be over a few dreams that have come true.
It's funny how alot of these psychics admit they could be wrong. Well the way I see it if they know this then why do "readings" for people who want to know about serious stuff like the deaths and abductions of loved ones? Sylvia talks to these people like she is 100% certain of what she is saying.
And why would a legitimate pschic who could help people charge $750.00 for a 20-30 minute reading? Especially if there is a chance she could be wrong. I wonder if she gives refunds to those she does an incorrect reading with.

I've read a few of her earlier books. Some of the things she put made sense, but it wasn't until I was into research mode, that it seemed like it was lifted from other people's works.

Exactly. I've had weird experiences where I sometimes just "knew" something without being able to explain how I knew it, but I'd never call myself psychic, because it's only happened two or three times in my whole life. Once, I dreamed my friend came up to me in a bar and announced she was pregnant (In the dream, I took her drink away from her - hee!). The very next time I saw her, she was at work -- at a bar, different from the bar in my dream, and of course she wasn't drinking, but still -- and she came up to me, saying, "I have to tell you something." I said, "Are you pregnant?" and she just got this look of astonishment on her face, because she was. A few times in my life, I've "heard" people tell me things before they actually spoke. But those are isolated instances and I know for damn sure I'm not "psychic."
So I wouldn't try to trick people into believing I am - which is what SB does. She just "reads" people and parrots back what they've already told her, and if what they say doesn't match up to her "predictions," she changes her story. And, often, she's cruel about it and gets, IMHO, belligerent with them. Yeah, real comforting and compassionate, especially when dealing with people who've lost loved ones. For the most part, I think "psychics" are just intuitive people who are observant and can tell things about people just from chatting with them - SB doesn't even do that well.
Capitalizing on someone's grief is just despicable, and that's her in a nutshell. People want to believe the person they love is still "out there" somewhere, and she takes advantage of that.
That said, I do believe there are people who are sensitive to things, but do I believe people can predict the future? Not so much. And Sylvia Browne can't even predict the past -- even with things that have been on national news -- so, to me, she's just pathetic. Oh, and heartless.

I can't bring myself to look through any of her books, but I sometimes catch the end of Montel right before the news comes on, and the funniest prediction I've heard of hers is that trains are evil and are going to kill us all.
I sometimes have dreams where something happens, and then it does a few days later. I should get in on this racket, because I'm obviously just as qualified as Slyvia Browne.

Psssst! The trains are working with the planes and cars--but don't tell anyone that I told you. I haven't read a single one of her books, but I've posted 3 times in here. That's just sad.

I'm very intuitive, but definitely don't claim to be even the tiniest bit psychic. However, if I had an extra $750 laying around, I would totally call her for a reading just to see. And I'd use a fake name and pay with someone else's credit card so she couldn't check up on me prior to the reading. And I love how on Montel when people ask her if there's anyone around them, she'll basically describe the person asking I wonder if Montel thinks she's for real or if he goes along with it for the ratings I'm sure she brings in. I admit I TiFaux "Sylvia Browne Wednesdays".

I've been reading throught the debunking site, and this woman is such a ghoul. Preying on bereaved families is disgusting. And no matter what she says, her hardcore fans always defend their worthless idol.
