I was just about to post that but couldn't think of where. All of the stories are so haunting, and I think it's also powerful that he told some of the stories from the POV of the person who was texting.

Additionally, while I'm a big Herzog fan and I happen to enjoy the philosophizing he does in a lot of his documentaries, in this case, I like that he neither appears on camera nor narrates, but just lets the people tell their own stories.

And the best part is those are questions she actually got while working as an historical reenactor (is that actually a word?). Who the hell are these people with these questions?

Then again, I have a friend who works as a park ranger, and back when he was interning one of his colleagues got fired for deadpanning "Angel shit, ma'am" when a woman asked him what all the white stuff on top of the mountain was.
