I love this thread too, but stuff like that doesn't happen to me now.

We have an ongoing ghost story on Storify and Twitter. Adam Ellis is a cartoonist for Buzzfeed, and he claims he is being haunted by a misshapen boy named "Dear David" in his apartment in Manhatten. It's a series of tweets, photos, and videos. And it's a little creepy.... IHeart has their own take on it, but both versions are the same. We are getting closer to The Witching Hour..........

I love ghost stories. I'm hoping to have my shit together this year and do the Halloween ghost tour of Vancouver. It always sells out and I'm always late booking.

Wow! I just looked up Ghost Tour of Seattle, but it's been shut down to transition to a new owner. Bummer. (But I know the stories anyway.)

Soo, I'm usually pretty skeptical and blase about all things paranormal, but reading that whole thread of his tweets seriously creeped me out!!

If it's a hoax, I wouldn't be mad because he's done it so well.

Kaleidoscope Eyes, congratulations on surviving Myrtles Plantation. A lot of people wind up, er, wrapping up their stays there much earlier than planned. I've wanted to see that place since first seeing the alleged ghost photos of Chloe, so I'm kind of jealous of you.

So there's been an update on the Twitter ghost story guy. A planter knocked off a shelf. I don't have twitter so I can't post that. Says he's leaving for Japan for two weeks. I hope he's got someone taking care of his cats.

I'm also a skeptic, but the Dear David thing is really interesting. Some of the things moving or falling off the walls could be explained by him living near a subway line - he's mentioned that his building sometimes shakes due to the proximity. But some of the pictures and the videos of his cats acting weird and going to the door around midnight a lot definitely make me go hmmm.
If Ellis just concocted this whole thing and decided to use Twitter to tell a ghost story then that's a great idea. If that's what it turns out to be in the end, I'd be impressed because it's well done. But there are factors that work against that idea, like how would he get his cats to act like that, the pictures, etc.
Definitely very interesting regardless. I hope he can move away before too much longer because he seems (rightfully) freaked out and over it.

Michael Jackson reborn? That guy could be his twin. (I really didn't know where to stick this story. Since it scared me, I picked here.)
