I know I can order an inactivated phone on amazon. Then what? Do I just call any company and have it activated?
How about this: I currently have Verizon. I hate Verizon and want to switch to Sprint so HGTV and I can be on the same account. Can I do this whole transaction by phone? When switching phones AND carriers, is there any hope of saving my pics and contacts?

I* changed phone and carrier a few years ago and my contacts came with me I thought this was miraculous but lady in store said no all contacts were saved to sim/memory card rather than just phone. More recently changed phones same carrier again all contacts transfer but no photos but I still have old phone and its connected to home WiFi so transfered photos over by sending them via messenger app to myself from old to new phone it worked for me when other ways failed! But see below!
* I'm not super knowledgeable of phone stuffs also the different country thing!

Quick question for the IT pros: can I install and run antivirus on the client workstations in my office network until I can find and install one on the server itself? Or should I wait until I have a system wide one and install everywhere at once? I have to do a bunch of research to cover the server end and wonder if I should at least protect the in use workstations until I get the whole thing sorted. And whoever decided I should be in charge of our IT is a dumbass. DH says: I would recommend protecting the client workstations in the interim. Just avoid Kaspersky; there are some legitimate questions about Russian spying with this product.

I would recommend visiting your Sprint guy first and asking him exactly what the rules are of HGTV's plan because so many of them are built around buying the phone too. (They don't *want* you using a phone you got on Amazon, so you have to employ your "used car salesman" battle tactics to pin them down). One time I physically brought the $2.99 flip phone I got from Best Buy to the AT&T store and asked them whether they could activate that phone RIGHT NOW YES OR NO.

Does anyone here use Facebook Instant Articles - as a publisher or a reader? I'm trying to determine if it's worth my company posting our blog/content in this format, so if you have any experience with it on either end, I'd love to hear it. I don't even know if I've used it myself!

Is anyone here a Google Hangouts guru? I'm having trouble adding external users to a hangout and I am following the directions on the GSuite page and it's still forcing people to log in with their Google accounts.

Do people here even have real names? If/when I meet any of you, I am going to call you by your screen names. Be prepared!
Have you looked at Mint.com? I think you can set budgets by category but I don't know if it drills down enough for what you're looking for. It also syncs with your accounts, which may be too invasive for your liking.
