What are keens? I am currently in sweats, but will soon be changing into a black wrap dress and black Guess booties with 4 inch heels. Hmph.

Keens are these phenomenally comfortable shoes. The company was founded by a guy looking to make boating / waterproof shoes because his family (the Keens) owned a company that made boats. There are lots of different styles (assorted sandals, hiking boots, "dressy" shoes), but they have built in toe boxes. Like, the sole extends up and covers your toes. Love them.

Oh, kateln, I am totally feeling you on the Keens. I'm at 3 pairs now, but I'm getting more this summer. I have hiking boots, the brown Mary Janes with the floral pattern around the toe, and the bright orange strapped Zerraport (the ones with a toe box and kind of a Z patterned strap). I've got the boat shoes, the boots, and I so want their new ballet flats.

I was on a kick of dressing super cute for work (Thursday - gray pencil skirt, black silk top; Friday - bright blue dress that ties at the waist, brown tall boots, really cute sateen trenchcoat; Monday - green print wrap dress, black boots), but today I don't care. Baggy jeans and a green long-sleeved top with a black cami under it. I don't even feel like wearing makeup.

Shanmac, your Friday outfit sounds SO cute. Next winter, mark my words, I am getting hot boots.
Well, currently I'm wearing a bathrobe (I know it's 5 pm, but I'm on my way to have a shower!) but tonight I'm going to a concert. I think I'll wear a belted, grey-striped cardigan sweaterdress from Superstore (you laugh, but the Joe line has some HELLA cute/very cheap clothes) with tights and black flats. This is when I need boots, because it would look ten times better with them, I think. Damn these short little legs of mine!

I'm losing weight right now. So my wardrobe lately? Long sleeve t-shirts, cardigan sweaters, jeans, capris, and ballet flats.
Stuff that I can change out as I get smaller.

I love that outfit, even if the dress did feel like it might have been a tad too short for work. Meh. Still cute.

Today I am wearing:
-Long, black t-shirt with a deep square neckline. It has a stained-glass pattern around the neckline in bronzes and silver. -Black leggings -Black patent leather flats. -Bronze birdie motif earrings and ring. -Bronzy-brown beaded bracelet.
I might swap the leggings for jeans, depending on where I am going out after work.
ETA: And my new jacket! I love it. It's a black, hooded, belted windbreaker-y type deal. And also a dark green pashmina. And a purse.

Today I'm at home. Khaki capris, a long sleeve white t-shirt and a black cardigan. I love the contrast between khaki and black.
If I go out some black suede ballet flats.

Chocolate brown trousers, long sleeved black tee, cherry Dr. Martens oxfords, blue argyle socks, maneki neko pendant.
With the exception of shoes and jewelry, everything is from Target.
