Wasn't he though? It's one of the things I hated about the show, the way he was turned into a creepy stalker who should have been arrested.

I'm another one who came late to this show. It's only ever shown in Aus. in the non-ratings period and thus we are only up to the point where Fez has married Eric's sister. I, ahem, really like this show. It's funny and, damn, Ashton Kutcher actually looks good in it! Would it be wrong to buy it on dvd?

No. But avoid the final season like the plague. Seriously, with one exception, the various resolutions made no sense whatsoever.

we are only up to the point where Fez has married Eric's sister. It's pretty much all downhill from there. That was my favorite show and I will forever hate the creators for not ending it before it turned into a complete peice of crap.

One thing that annoyed me is after Fex marries the sister so he can stay in the country there is a brief mention of it in the next season but then they really drop it altogether. There is one episode where Laurie and Fez get wedding gifts and Kitty wants them to keep them but I don't recall it being mentioned after that.

Rule of Thumb: If Donna is blonde, change the channel.

Hah! I posted the same rule over at another site. And I agree. Not that there were no bad episodes pre-dye job, or no good episodes after it. However, while channel surfing, a shot of blonde hair on Donna will immediately cause me to keep going.

I never noticed until the very end of his run on the show that Topher Grace wore a wig. Was his own hair not 70s enough?

How did the show end? I gave up on it years before it was canceled.

I hated this show. With all the misogynistic shows we complain about, if ever there was a misandristic show, this was it.
Donna treated Eric like shit. Anytime he did anything that wasn't completely in tune with her feelings it was "GOSH You're such a JERK!" yet she was reminding him how much hotter she was than him, telling him how perverted he was to want to have sex with her, teasing him over every little thing and then insisiting that he was so lucky to have her, again, because she was so hot. The episode I hated the most was the one where they went to a concert and Donna left Eric for hours so she could go backstage, and then when Eric was upset that they didn't get to be together for the evening Donna had the nerve to get mad at him for not being happy for her. Then she became "Hot Donna" at the radio station, but whenever a guy called her hot at a time when it wasn't convenient to her then she went all "OMG Sexist PIG!". She acted like she was this ball buster tomboy but anytime something didn't go her way it was all "Oh how dare you! I'm a girl and I have girly feelings and they're more important than you're feelings!"
And I hated Hyde. He was such a rude bully, but just like Red (I also loathed him) they acted like he was just Strong and Silent and there was such a virtue in this, and that the only time a man shouldn't be Strong and Silent is when he has to take on the duty of making fun of another guy who is not Strong and Silent. I hated how when Hyde started dating Jackie behind Kelso's back, Hyde acted like Kelso was such an ass to Jackie and that Jackie had all these beautiful inner qualities that are hard for people to see, but Kelso was every bit the dumbass he appeared to be. Jackie was every bit of a shallow, stupid, self-centered jackass as Kelso was, but because she's a girl it was okay, and if you don't think so well Hyde will come punch you in the face!
I also hated Fez. He really was annoying, but at the same time I hated how they always played up what a creepy pervert he was. I mean if you had to move to a new country where everyone thinks you're weird and you can't find anyone who wants to have a relationship with you like all the other kids get to have, you'd probably feel pretty lonely too.
I hated Eric's stupid sister who always whined to their daddy to get him in trouble, and the all-knowing father, Red, always bought into it.
And isn't most of the cast Scienos in real life? That validates my hatred of this show a lot.
