That entire episode was stupid and sanctimonious. The only redeeming feature was Overdramatic Chipmunk, who should really have his own series.

I think it has come to that point in my South Park love where I just feel that Matt and Trey are dragging on. The Canadian ep was terrible, I don't think I laughed more than once, at that one time was when they had the dramatic squirrel. What has happened Matt and Trey? You guys used to be so good.

I loved the Imagination Land shows and that was from less than a year ago. How could they sink so fast? 3 episodes into the season and they all sucked.

Imagination Land was funny, and the internet round-up was funny (until the prerequisite, inexplicable bloodbath). It's really hit and miss for me these days though.

They need to back away from the social commentary and stop trying to be so preachy all the time. I miss the simple stories of Stan's dog being gay, Cartman getting an anal probe, Mr. Hanky, Cartman's mom being a total slut, and Kenny getting killed.

Last weeks episode was much better, it had Cartman in all his ignorant glory and Kenny actually had something to do. Even if it was getting high off cat piss. The more absurd the show is the more I tend to enjoy it.

The more absurd the show is the more I tend to enjoy it. Hence the reason why the Chicken Fu**er episode will always be my favorite. It had a guy in a rainbow jumpsuit, doing unmentionable things to chickens so that the kids will read! How awesome is that?

When they take on hot-topic political or social issues, they tend to get really preachy - as preachy as the people they lampoon for being preachy. And the hot topic episodes happen more and more often in the later seasons - they seem to get caught up in doing shows "ripped from the headlines," like they're Law and Order or something.

Another tasteless and also unfunny episode, marked by really long commercials/trailers for mostly violent videogames (Shaun White notwitstanding--snowboarding by Wii is a blast, I'm sure). Who thought Lucas & Spielberg reenacting the rape scene from The Accused would be a laugh riot? I'm still traumatized.
