proper stranger, I think it's a sound file on my phone. I can send it to you if you like (not sure if it works outside the UK but will give it a go???)

I like that they don't give a damn who they offend. If you try and be PC 24/7 you're gonna implode.

Yeah - if anyone ever doubted that, the Christopher Reeve ep pretty much solidified that. I'm still surprised that one and the Scott Tenorman one ever got on the air. Actually, I'm surprised half of what goes on in South Park makes it on air.
I don't know how anyone could take anything on South Park even halfway seriously. Parker & Stone and probably drunk/high/both when they write the stuff. They've also pretty much admitted that most of the eps aren't even done until the day they air (the Elian Gonzales & Terry Schiavo eps are a perfect example of this.
I don't think they've given two shits for awhile now - South Park lasted much longer than they ever dreamed and while they probably apprciate what it's done for them, they are also seem to be sick of it.
I'll be a little sad when they stop making new eps just because I like seeing what they'll do next or how they'll skewer the hot topic of the day - even if it's not the best ep ever, it's still a nice mindless way to waste a half hour. But the DVDs are great to have so I'm good and I can still watch the movie over and over again without hating it (even if the songs get stuck in my head for days on end). Phil Collins owes them an Oscar.

How could I forget the Terry Schiavo episode? That was so messed-up, it had me in stitches.

New episodes start tonight at 10:00 ET, yay! My DVR only gives "Two Days Before the Day After Tomorrow" for the episode description.

I think this one may be a riff on the whole Hurricane Katrina situation. They also apparently have an episode planned about breast cancer.
Absolutely nothing is sacred to these guys.

Actually, as much as I like SP, the one time I had a problem with them was when they gave into the fans after the BRILLIANTLY staged April Fool's episode (T&P instead of "Who's Cartman's Father?")
They should have just kept it at four weeks later, like they said they would.
But other than that, sometimes these guys are so crazy brilliant sometimes that it freaks me out.
I was falling over at the Terri Sciavo ep.

Last night's episode was awesome, at the end where everyone tries to take blame and Stan gets so pissed off when he is trying to tell the truth had me going for a while.
I love how they never take a 'side' in any of the debates and situations they parody on the show. Instead feeling the need to make all sides look like the turd, or is it the giant douche?
