What sweet pickles and pearl onions aren't great to dip in cheese fondue?
What's the matter with you?
Don't tell me that (grey) lamb soup ain't great for entertaining, because there's nothing more I like to do than pick up a bowl of grey ground lamb soup.

I told my mom about the pickles and onions for fondue. She gave me something roughly equivilent to "Bitch Crazy"
I'm conflicted about their "baseball night" this weekend. I lurve baseball, but really don't care what most parks serve. (Although, I am biased and will tell you that SBC Park Garlic Fries are heaven-sent.)

Yeah I kinda picture Sandra Lee as a kid sitting around a tiny table with all her dollies and stuffed animals serving them tea and Fig Newtons.

But you know it wouldn't be simple tea and Fig Newtons -- she'd spike the tea with vodka, and spread canned frosting on the Fig Newtons with food coloring dyed coconut sprinkled on top.

That's not dangerous enough, MoreCowbell. She'd HAVE to liven things up with a few lit sparklers sticking out of one end of the cookies or homemade razorblade handles on the tea cups. All her dishes are a deathtrap.

My dad makes a beeline for the Gordon Biersch stand and gets two orders of those fries every time he goes to SBC.
I like Ray-Ray except for her constant "it smells so GOOD in here!" screechings.

I don't know how Ray Ray gets away with shite like sub stoupe. Anyone down for some boiled pepperoni?

How does she get away with having not one but three shows? Between that and the boiled pepperoni-type dishes, I have to ask: is she humping a higher-up?
This is really superficial, but I don't like Ray Ray's kitchen at all. The greens and yellows and red/orange accents are too fast-food-restaurant-y and jarring.

I'm not a huge fan of Ray Ray's kitchen either, but as a busy college student, I do enjoy her 30 minute meals. They're not ramen, but also not too pretentious. The only thing I'm not digging is that some of her ingredients are pretty expensive.
That being said, I heart Paula Deen. I love that almost all of her dishes are done fat-kid style, and that she seems to genuinely love food. I made her Lady and Sons' Onion Cheese Bread (I would suggest laying off the garlic salt and halving the butter drizzled on top, but other than that) and it was awesome.

Funny, there was a blind item that kind of fit Ray Ray's description, on another board, suggesting that very thing.
