Yeah, that episode did seem strained. I wish Danny McBride had been chosen instead of Ferrell.

Nobody watched the Will Ferrell episode? I'm usually pretty happy with The Office, even with the weaker episodes. This episode was so unbelievably awful, I had to turn it off 3/4 of the way through. It was actually unpleasant to watch. Watched it and as much as I wanted to love it, I just didn't. It was a wreck. Except for the last line that made me laugh out loud. A little too late though.

This show has been on a steady decline for the past few years, but last night's episode was so bad that it actually made me sad. And I loathe that song from Rent. I had to fast forward through that entire part. As soon as I hear the first few notes of it, it's stuck in my head for days. So, thanks a lot, Office.

From Rent? I don't know where the song was from but it very much the actors giving tribute to Steve. Which I guess was sweet but not really why I watch the show. I'm a huge Office fan but these past two years have been an effort to watch. It'll be interesting to see Steve's last show but the stuntcasting has to stop.

Double post. Sorry but I had to comment on Steve's final episode. It was actually pretty touching. I especially enjoyed his good-bye to Dwight. Loved it the most of all his moments with the staff. Bye Steve! you'll be missed.

I got a little teary at the airport scene with Pam. I spent the whole episode thinking this was the finale, but I guess there's three more?

I'm glad that they got a "That's what she said" joke in there. I would've been mad if there hadn't been.
I actually liked that they had him leave the night before he told everyone that he was leaving. That was a sweet little touch.

I think the last two weeks of the office have been really good. I didn't enjoy the Will Ferrell episodes at all but when they focus more on the interactions between everyone else in the office, it's great.
Creed is awesome and I love that they don't overuse him.
ETA: I almost forgot! James Spader!

James Spader was the best of the guest stars, I thought. This finale was pretty good.

As long as James Spader exudes extreme James Spaderness, life is good.
