I know what you mean, surly. I haven't had Appointment TV for a while, and it's fun to anticipate My Name is Early at 9 and The Office at 9:30. Recently, NBC put in an episode of Teachers in the spot for The Office and TTMR & I howled in protest.
I love last night's episode. The first time I saw it, I didn't catch Jim doing his Jets jazzy walk on the way to the confrontation, and I laughed hysterically last night. And when the sensai first opened the fight and Dwight and Michael were slap-fighting. Hi-LAR-ious!
Oh, and when Dwight was telling the story about how tough his grandfather was: "My grandfather once killed 20 men. Then he spent the rest of the war in an Allied prisoner of war camp." Once again, I missed the Allied part the first time I saw it.

Ha yeah, that's one thing I love about this show: everytime I see an episode I catch something new and freshly hilarious. I like Toby the best of all the characters. He's so sad but he's had some excellent moments... "Ryan's... dead. Dead."

They were at the dojo because Dwight (Gareth) made a big deal about taking karate lessons and being a sempai (sp?). He even brought his belt into work. So Jim (Tim) started egging him and Michael (David) on about who would win a fight, and they decided to settle it at the dojo. It's actually one of my favorite episodes, but I think that's because there's a lot of Jim/Pam goodness and I'm pretty invested in that relationship. The opening joke also kicks ass. Thanks for filling me in on why they were doing karate...would you mind telling me what the opening joke was? (thanks!)

Dwight walked in and his desk was gone. He questioned Jim about the whereabouts of his and Jim scolded him for losing it. Dwight went towards Michael's office to "tell," and Jim said colder. So Dwight went back in the opposite direction and Jim directed him into the men's bathroom using warmer and hot. Dwight's desk was in there completely in tact and the phone was ringing. Dwight asnwered it and it was Jim asking about the price of something. As Dwight was answering him Kevin walked out of one of the stalls with a lit candle. Kevin then walks out of the shot and Dwight says, "Wash your hands Kevin."

So was I the only one who was broken hearted when Pam got freaked out by roughhousing with Jim and snapped at him? Granted, he was being a bit grope-y (and her shirt was up, for God's sake!), but I still felt bad about the whole situation. Ugh, "Office" love triangle, you're making me your beeyotch all over again, this time with an American accent.

Just caught that sensei episode. I've always been a huge fan of the UK version and much less enamored of the American one, but I must say that I thought this one was hilarious. It really captured a lot of what I think is great about the original. I was cracking up for nearly the entire episode.

After a few weeks of what I thought were kinda lackluster shows, I have to say -- last night was BRILLIANT.
I love Creed and Toby more than anything—and that photo that Michael used his mad Photoshop skillz on? Hilarious.

Oh me, too. And next week's is super-sized! I'm always complaining that this show needs at least an extra ten minutes if I can't get an hour and next week, it will start 10 minutes earlier.
