I think he is awful in the Star Wars films. He has proven that he is capable of giving a good performance in films like Life As A House and Shattered Glass (although Peter Sarsgaard totally stole the film from him in that one) and is definitely hot. I give all of the actors in Star Wars films a ton of slack because the dialogue is awful and the direction is even worse. So far, the only actor to escape with ALL of his dignity intact is Ian McDiarmid (Senator Palpatine/ The Emperor). In my opinion, every other actor or note has tarnished his or her image by being in the film.

I don't believe that he's gay. Rumour has it that he went out briefly with Nat Portman when they were making Attack of the Clones in Sydney.

He doesn't ping on my gaydar either and its usually really good. He just strikes me as young and incredibly shy and private about his life. He's never been a famewhore. He doesn't seem to be too bothered by the rumors either, which I find cool. If he is though it really doesn't matter. He's gorgeous and talented and it's not like I had a shot with him anyway.

Yeah, it was cute. I liked the bit about him and Ewan going off to play with their lightsabers and when Tracy Ullman came out and kept talking to him. She liked him I think. And he brushed his hair for the appearance. He still used way too much gel on it and had it matted down, but at least it looked neat.
