Yeah, it looks that way though at least he did something heroic this time. And my Julexis 'ship is still floating. "C'mere." *sigh* Michael did all the heavy lifting, Sonny took it from him once he was already outside. I hope it's a Julexis 'ship for two because I'm there with ya. Very true on Michael's actions. And there's always room on the Julexis 'ship. We serve margaritas on the lido deck everyday at 4pm. ;-) |

So, they're telegraphing an Olivia pregnancy with Julian as baby daddy. *sigh* My precious Julexis have enough in their way. They didn't need a baby too. The writers on this show throw too many obstacles sometimes at these couples. They have to be together enough to root for them. Yeesh. Also, I actually like Olivia, and she deserves better than this (though I recognize that the actress is pregnant IRL which is partly why they're going this way.) Partly? I think that's being generous. More like Ron and company are so creatively bankrupt that if an actress if pregnant they just go "oh, ok, well, let's get her banging someone so we can write it in." So lame. |

This show is such a hot mess. I can't believe they didn't hire Sri Rao when they could. Also, Rebecca Budig is joining the show. I LOVED her as early Greenlee and Leo/Greens will forever be my Soap OTP but no thanks. She is so going to eat the show.

Grrrr. Did you see Jules' face when he saw Alexis' at his door? His heart melted on the spot. I hate this show. Let them be together for two minutes before you throw something else at them. Gah. They're going to suffer the same fate as Niz - apart and with other people so much that you stop caring. It is possible to keep people together and have it still be interesting. Of course that requires witting talent. And who the hell were all of these other people on the show today? I literally recognized no one.

I hear that she might be playing Sarah Webber. *sigh* I loved her as Greenlee too (especially with Leo), but I have zero faith in this writing team to not screw this up. Oof. And yeah - they could use some extra writing talent a la Sri Rao. ETA: My Julexis 'ship is sailing happily along: "prop the chair up against the door and close the blinds". Dear God, but that man is such a pig. Ha - one sexy pig though. Would be nice if poor Olivia (a.k.a. the only truly nice person in Port Chuckles) wasn't saddled with this crap storyline. Clearly, Julian and Olivia aren't into each other so there will be no pairing up so what will the story be? Other than hurting Alexis of course. Another story about a fight for custody? Another dead baby storyline? Gah. The only way that they could make this interesting is if Olivia has an abortion (which I gather will not be the case as the actress will look increasingly pregnant as time goes on, and Olivia seems to be of the Sonny Corinthos pro-life persuasion plus then Ned couldn't be harangued into claiming to be the father.) Unless it is some sort of late-term problem with the fetus abortion storyline which if written well would be a tearjerker (yeah, written well - that's going to happen!) Wally Kurth is supposed to be leaving to join DOOL again, so maybe he and Olivia scram with the baby? Blah. I hear that Geary is retiring this year. Does that mean that Luke will go out in a blaze of glory? Will Jeanie Francis be hired on as Laura to see him off? Will JJ return as Lucky the Sanctimonious? If he does, I hope that Nik and Liz are on fire and in his face at that point because I'm mean and haven't liked Lucky since he disappeared back in the late 90s when Helena brainwashed him. I hate that I'm so invested in this show right now. I blame the Alexis and Julian storyline otherwise I wouldn't bother. Nik and Liz was the only reason I started watching again until Julian showed up. |

I hear that Geary is retiring this year. Does that mean that Luke will go out in a blaze of glory With this story going on as long as it has? And the scenery chewing TG has been doing? Blaze of glory is out of the question. |

Thanks for the info on WK. I want Ned around for poor Olivia's sake. She needs somebody in her corner.
Man, I felt sorry for her today. Lisa LoCicero did a great job with her scenes. Her little hopeful dance at telling Ned that it was a false alarm. The regret was palpable when she said, "I said that? Oh...Yeah, I really am," after Ned reminded her that she told him about the blood test. There was such sadness and resignation in her voice. I'm probably over identifying because I remember really regretting an evening with an inappropriate gentleman once, but I thought her scenes were very well acted and decently written for once.
ETA: "Congratulations, jackass, and you're welcome." Hahaha. I love Alexis.
Bobbie's botox and fillers are just icky - only her lower mouth moves like a ventriloquist's dummy now. I also noticed a little too much botox on Alexis' forehead today. Her eyebrows and forehead are too stiff now. Maybe it just needs to settle a bit - her work is usually more subtle. It must be really hard to be an actress and try and stay as attractive as possible just to keep your job.

Damn, today was sad. I could barely watch Duke and Anna while they spoke of where they would live together. Poor Anna. I kind of hope she does get Julian now even if it would end Julexis. Of course, I think that Julian may have killed his relationship with Alexis along with Duke. How ironic.
I really hate GH lately. Where has all the 'love in the afternoon' gone?
