I'm an atheist, but I found myself liking the faith healer kid -- I think the actor should be commended for not making the character a cartoon. I mean, my opinion on faith healing itself is fairly aligned with those expressed by House in this episode, but I like that the kid wasn't merely set up as an ideological pinata.
Next week's previews looked scary good. Fingers crossed.

It was someone who lived in the apartment across the hall (and man, where can I get an apartment like the people who live on this show? Those are sweet!)
The kid knew about the poker game from the dying cancer lady, who it turns out was Wilson's girlfriend.
The tumors presumably were only fatal when they thought they were causing the hallucinations, etc. As it turns out, it was the herpes making the kid sick. Doctors usually don't like to perform unncessary brain surgery, so I assumed that since the tumors were benign the docs felt they were okay to leave in since the herpes could be treated and it turns out the tumors weren't caused the problems.

The two-parter tonight and tomorrow looks pretty intense, and the reviews I've read so far are quite positive. Stoked!

Last week's episode seemed a little far-fetched. Herpes attacking cancer THAT quickly, after the kid only touched her forehead? Okay then.
I'm excited about the two-parter though.

I wasn't liking Foreman when he screwed Cameron re: the paper.
Intentionally stabbing her with a potentially infected needle? HATE. Especially since Cameron was the one trying to go back to the apartment in the beginning; House threatened to can her if she did.
Does anyone know if Omar Epps's contract is up? Even if they cure him, I am pretty sure what he did to Cameron was first-degree assault. I can't imagine he would be allowed to continue working there. I know someone could make the argument that he didn't know what he was doing, due to the mysterious illness of the week, but I think it was pretty clear that it was a calculated and very intentional move.

I thought the paper and needle things were really dumb on the writers' part. Especially because Foreman had some ego issues to start with without chucking those into the mix. If I were reading this on fanfiction.net, I'd think "Man, why are they making Cameron such a saintly Mary Sue?" I mean, nothing against Cameron, but does Foreman have to do everything short of appearing in Osama bin Laden videos to make her look good?
Okay, whine over. I thought the actors all smacked this one out of the park. Damn. I did get a little misty at certain points...

I flipped over to Amazing Race and missed how House made the diagnosis. What happened between House saying it was the water, to which Cameron said she'd tested it, and the diagnosis and cure? Something about an amoeba? How come Foreman caught it but House didn't? Thanks!

Hey Berrie House discovered that the reason Foreman and the other guy got sick, but Cameron did not, is that those guys were in the apartment when the watering system turned itself on and started spraying the water over the plants and the whole room. When Cameron was in there, the water system wasn't activated. She DID test the water, but she tested water from the pipes or the tap. House found the water being sprayed over the plants was actually coming from a tub on the roof outside, which the pigeons had also used for various things. So, the water was contaminated with a bacteria. House discovered this at the same time Cameron had just completed drilling that hole in Foreman's brain; also the same time the CDC called them with their results on the autopsy. If Cameron had waited just a couple minutes more, she'd have found the answer from House or the CDC without drilling Foreman's brain. So, once they all knew what specific bacteria it was, they knew what the disease was -- sounded like "aleereeah" I think -- and they started treating Foreman.
