If you figure it out, please let me know. I still have no clue why those two were together for so long. Justin could annoy the paint off my walls. Or in the case of Paul Lynde, extremely dead. Couldn't agree more. Both of those characters devolved rapidly into cartoon cut outs of their former selves, the pinnacle being (IMO) the whole online porn site both of them had going for what? Four episodes? I hope to see them both working after the show wraps, regaining the dignity they had before it all started.

What I did was join a couple EXCELLENT yahoo spoiler groups and they can either post the episode or give you a complete run down of everything that happens from beginning to end. But when eps are posted it's usually through that You Send It site so it's only up for a short time. The only thing I was able to find without looking too hard was the final 6 minutes of the last ep. Which I've watched obsessively.
There are some truly hilarious (and sad) things going on in the fandom now. Some people are truly insane. I'm having more fun then I've ever had watching a show. And that's saying alot because before I got into QAF I was heavily into the Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel fandom.

I wish I had discovered this show sooner. :-(
Now I'm having fun comparing the way QAF portray's Brian's promiscuity as opposed to the way SATC portrayed Samantha's promiscuity.

Oh, brother. The best thing about this ep was the PJ Harvey/Thom Yorke duet that played during the final credits. OK, to be fair, I think that this was one of the better episodes of the season. Gus? Is damn cute. He deserves a better show. Linds and Brian saying goodbye was sweet--I've always thought the two of them had the best chemistry of all the actors on the show. Why didn't they do it? Oh, right, because hetero sex is both gross and wrong. I waited almost 45 minutes for my laugh out loud, ridiculous moment, but got it when Justin's artwork was compared to both J. Pollack and J. Johns. Ah, good times. All in all, I really couldn't focus too much because I was still reeling from the Six Feet Under ep. Now THAT'S acting. And writing...

Love "This Mess We're In." Foreboding/shadowing much, though?
On the flipside, I looked forward to the ridiculousness of QAF to get over the trauma. I had my laugh-out-loud moment when Ted said "I'm just looking for the imperfection" -- hello, Tad's wonky-Hilton eye? It's right there! All wonky! I know I'm not a regular watching, but I had no idea Ted was ever in A.A. And shouldn't meeting someone there be a warning sign?
I hope that Tad doesn't turn out to be a complete control freak -- who cancels a birthday party like that?
Speaking of warning signs: Justin -- if Brian is indifferent to his own kid until reminded not to be, what makes you think you'll fare better? "The only one who's never broken a promise is you..." Gah! Total agreement on the Linds and Brian chemistry -- they feel so much like actual friends, more so sometimes than Mikey and Brian.
Moving to Toronto(sburgh). But of course.
The preview for next week's behind the scenes was priceless with the light-bright music video set and the tagline "you can't top the original." Nice. Especially since I bet that the British series isn't going to be mentioned at all.

HA HA HA! Priceless, wasn't it? Even better -- Brian "complaining" about the big words in the article. Now, here's a man who's educated, has a great sense of personal style (his house, not so much with the clothes), and owns a what? Oh, right an ADVERTISING agency mocking "big" words used in an art criticism magazine.
Can someone also tell the bartender at Woody's that a Shirley Temple doesn't come with a celery stick? Thanks.
A complete control freak. That of course we all saw, but Ted won't figure out until next week. And seriously? Ted LOVES him? He's known him for what? 3 days? I don't remember Ted being in A.A. either. And why does Ted keep saying that Brian is his "friend?" When does Brian ever call Ted to do anything other than his books? For which he pays Ted a SALARY. That's called a boss. Not a pal.
Indeed. That Mel -- always fighting for gay rights. But when the going gets tough, she leaves. Awesome example for your kids!
Thank god Emmett had Deb to set him straight about Drew, and Hunter had Deb to set him straight about life without a high school diploma, and that Brian had Justin to set him straight about his kid even and had Linds to change his mind. If it werent' for other people, these characters would never know how to feel or act.

"You can't top the original". I hate that because it's not like QAF is this fantastic, quality show. And the ONLY thing that's "original" about it is that it shows graphic sex scenes between same sex characters. The writing sucks, the directing sucks, and the storylines suck. I think the acting is the only really good thing about this show. I'm surprised they do as well as they do with some of the dialogue they're given. What's going to happen now is that any show that comes on that features gay characters will be compared to QAF. CowLip will brag about how all the new shows can't compare to QAF because they were the first to do it and have already covered just about any storyline that can possibly happen to gay people. In CowLip's eyes QAF is the original and the best and no other show will ever be able to top what they believe they have accomplished.
