But she didn't kill him. My God, it's not liked she raped him. It's not like sex always killed him. It's not like the sex itself killed him. He had AVM. He was vulnerable. I wonder if she went partially out of respect for her father. It would look weirder to others if she didn't.

Yeah, in spite of myself I started feeling sorry for Maggie. She had sex with him and then he died and her sense of guilt must be enormous. Truth be told, he probably would have died soon anyway if all that brain crap was messed up with him so placing the blame with her is unfair. After this week's episode, not only do I not feel sorry for Maggie, I despise her more than ever. Bringing that quiche to Brenda was bad enough, but her going to the funeral was obscene. Maggie had no right to be there. If she had any semblance of class, she would've stayed away, for Brenda's sake. To quote a post from TWOP's SFU forums: I hate Maggie as well. She reminds me of my ex boyfriend who was on this "spiritual" kick. Maggie acted all spiritual but in the end she was just a skank who fucked a man who was not only married but had a pregnant wife. True Brenda messed around on Nate but there was a major difference. I'm old fashioned, when you're married it's cheating, when you ain't married, it ain't cheating. Maggie's no more "spiritual" than an old piece of floss I've just used. She's lucky that Brenda didn't throw the quiche or however you spell it, in her face.

No, but she did tell him that they shouldn't hook up and he went for it anyway. Right afterwards, she was kicking him out as best she could. Somehow, Nate ignored that and thought that he had a future with her.

No, Maggie didn't kill him, but screwing a pregnant woman's husband wasn't one of her better ideas, to put it mildly. While Maggie may have thought she was doing the right thing, it was anything but. She could've said that she was too distraught to go to the funeral & gone to church instead, but nooooo. She had to ease her conscience at Brenda's expense. If I were Brenda, I would've thrown that quiche in her face. Which Maggie encouraged with one mixed signal after another. She'd been making goo-goo eyes at Nate ever since they first met, then they almost kissed at Nate's birthday party, then Maggie asked Nate to "never lie to [her]," which is a request that one makes of a lover, not a stepbrother she hardly knew. When Nate first kissed Maggie, she hesitated, at first, but she gave in & the rest is history, just like Nate is now. As far as I'm concerned, while Maggie's not the Antichrist, she's no innocent victim, either.

In the previews for next week it looks as if George and Ruth are back together. Also, any ideas of who Mya will end up with?

Well, it looks like Nate was glue that held that family together, because now that he's gone, they sure are falling apart.

Damn, I really thought they were going to kill Claire.
I'm hoping to the end that, ultimately, someone in that ridiculous family will stop being so self-destructively narcissistic.

No joke. They all just annoyed me. And I know that Ruth is mourning but does she not notice that two of her surviving children are in deep deep crap? That both David & Claire need outside help and pronto before she loses another kid? But no, she's wasting all of her time trying to keep Maya from Brenda. As if she's such a great mother that she'd be better than Brenda. So Ted, Claire's boyfriend of 2 months and Keith have to solely deal with the problems of Claire & David. Oy vey.
And the dream sequence that Brenda had about Billy made me want to throw up.

Yeah, that thing with her and Billy is disgusting. It's amazing that she acts so self righteous about Nate having sex with Maggie, but at the same time is dreaming about touching her brother's penis. Which is worse, cheating on your wife, or an incestous relationship with your brother? I believe that she would not only sleep with him, but move far, far away with him and pretend they are married. Some "Flowers in the Attic" bullshit. Just nasty.

I have to say that I don't think dreams are always representative of your true feelings, but rather sometimes indicative of your deepest fears. I have always felt that the incestuous feelings were on Billy's side, exclusively, but ever since he tried to kiss her that time, Brenda has been horrified and perhaps scared of her own feelings. I once had a dream that I had sex with my brother, and believe me when I say it's the last thing I ever want to do, and woke up appalled and upset. I would never compare cheating on your pregnant wife with having a sexual dream about your brother when under extreme duress.
