I don't get it. WTF just happened? I thought there was something wrong with the station for a minute and it just cut out. That's what we thought ! We were arguing thinking someone must have sat on the remote or something. Damn I can't believe it went out like that.

That dude who went to the bathroom was totally going to cap him. All I could think of was the gun taped to the toilet in The Godfather.
I liked how anticlimatic it was. We might have seen the last moment of his life, but we won't know. It really affected me for some reason.
AJ and his girlfriend are totally Christopher and Adriana, Version 2.0. At least that's how they were filmed.

That was Chase saying
Sometimes life just goes on.
Did anyone else notice a lighting change in the last half hour?

Damn, all that "Don't Stop Believin'" tension and then no release! I actually really liked the last scene, but so much of the episode seemed unessential.

I actually think I get it. Here's what I think happened:
The guy who went to the bathroom was going to get a gun to kill the whole family. We saw Tony look up at the sound of the door opening, and when the screen went blank, that was an implication that he was just killed. It was like, we were in the eyes of Tony. We saw the last thing he saw, and then when the lights went out for him, they went out for us too.

Ximena, that is a pretty good theory.

It wasn't that bad. Well, maybe it kinda was, but I'm okay with it. I think you can look at it either way - either life was going to go on or they were going to get slaughtered. You can have the ending you want this way.
I think in the larger sense it was saying something about how they were never going to be a regular family, no matter what happened. There'd always be this tension there, no matter what.

ximena, that may well be. But I still feel cheated.
And per the FAQs, you don't have to spoiler TV plots, especially speculative ones.
