Okay, who else yelled "Oh HELL NAW!" when the results were read? Maybe it was jsut my household, but we were dead silent for about ten minutes. I also can't believe the Kelly and her partner got all 10's for that last dance they did! Maybe I was watching another performance, because all I saw was Kelly stumbling and missing many of the steps.

I was pissed at the marks for that last "dance" (because really, WTF was that? I have no dance skills, and I could have done that), until I saw how assy the trophy was. Then it all seemed to fit. Peterman and Charlotte were too classy for that thing.

This convo happened during the last commercial break:

Dad: Who is Kelly anyway?
Me: "Soapstar" on General Hospital (I did use the finger quotes)
Dad: What kind of role does she play?
Mom: Hospital tramp?

My mom and I both almost had heart attacks when we saw we agreed with Carrie-Ann on Kelly's first dance being better the first time, wardrobe issues and all.

What is funny, is that there could of been a tie in the end as well, had John gotten more fan votes. But i will say it again, Soap Opera fans are some of the most passionate and determined fans there are out there.
I think Kelly's wardrobe malfunction Salsa(the first time) scored so high out of sympathy and as a congrats for not stopping right there. However last night it wasn't just as fun.Trista and her ugly ass Harliquin cover boy had to muck up my screen again Blah. And MY husband says that Kelly's Cleavage is the worlds best confetti holder.

That was so rigged. Kelly's dance was so sloppy and disconnected with her partner. I think they were told to give them all 10's so that it would be a closer race. The other team were so much more consistantly good and deserved to win. I loved their freestyle dance.

This was bullshit! I counted at least 4 obvious mistakes Kelly made during the final dance. Not the least of which was when her partner practically dropped her at the end and she landed so hard on her knees. I mean, it was awful.

Totally! Ugh. I am so pissed at the judges right now. I wonder if they were told that Kelly was going to win regardless (either a rigged contest or the fan voting was so drastic) that they had to give her 10s to make it seem plausible.

They received a perfect score! C'mon it was close contest, but cuteness won.

BTW - Do we really care? Don't we all lose because we wasted our time watching it?

The 10s probably were mandated by ABC, because the fan vote is the tiebreaker, and if Kelly had the fan vote, she would have won regardless. They were probably saving their ass. Not that having a network personality win wasn't already suspicious.

Hopefully, the scoring formula will be altered for the next season. Although, I fear that the ABC star will be famwhore extraordinaire, Eva Longoria.
