Do you think that it crosses Tatum's mind just how insulting that really is to her? They keep on pushing and pushing that she's an Oscar winner. But on any show like this that uses b-list celebrities when they're pushing the Oscar thing, there is a very present underlying "Yes folks, she's fallen this far"
I'm sad that Kenny is gone. I really wanted Master P out. Kenny at least had fun with the fact that he sucked.

Amen, Anne. Kenny was entertaining, from his snide commentary to his hand flicks during his routine. Master P just shuffles around. And...he's icky. I feel so bad for his partner.
As for Tatum, what I find sad is that with the caliber of celebrity they're used to attracting (i.e. reality TV stars, former models, and ex-athletes who need a buck) they're so proud of themselves for reeling in a REAL. LIVE. OSCAR WINNER! Never mind the fact that she won the award at the age of ten, before her downward spiral of drugs.
They were really hyping the Oscar Winner! angle on the previews. My roommate was like, "they got an Oscar winner!?! Who!?!" She didn't even know who Tatum was.

I missed the Thursday night broadcast, but I've seen plenty of clips and I watched Friday night, and is it true that Master P dedicated his "performance" to the Hurricane Katrina victims? Oh how touching to have that piece of "art" to commemorate the tragedy. And his poor partner--she was so embarrassed to have worked so hard and to have a partner that could not care less if he's putting forth a good effort or not.
If Drew Lachey can give up the baseball cap he never used to go without in public, Master P can take off his cap as well.

I missed Kenny's performance, but Salon has a brief clip of it plus an interview segment. His sense of humor will be missed.
I did see Tatum - she seemed so fidgety and twitchy during the interview segments - I'm no expert in spotting substance abuse, but is that just her personality or the residual/ current effects of her drug use. I'd bet her kids were dying of embarrassment.

I didn't think Tatum sucked that bad last night. She did win an Oscar you know. She is just really wierd. I still love Jerry Rice and Anna. My kids love George Hamilton for some unkown reason. I told my husband I want Lisa Rhinna's costume and pole dancing lessons for my birthday. My sons looked visably sick at that comment. Her lips really bug. 2 hours is kinda long for me. My husband loves the wrestler girl. Aren't wrestler girls supposed to be full of steroids and supposed to look like Chynna? Master P is a total waste of time.

Ugh, I hate Lisa Rinna. Maybe more than Master P. I am having a fabulous time watching those lips fail miserably.

My husband loves the wrestler girl. Aren't wrestler girls supposed to be full of steroids and supposed to look like Chynna? Only Chyna looks like Chyna - most of them are the usual small-with-big-fake-boobs. I can't believe I forgot to watch this because she (Stacy Keibler) is my girlcrush.

I know I'm over a week late on this, but I must confess that I think I'm the only person who is glad Kenny Mayne is gone. Yes, P most definitely deserved to go first (although he is the creator of one of my all-time favorite songs, he is an embarassment to this show), but I couldn't stand Kenny. His interactions with Tom and the judges seemed very awkward. Even his mannerisms irked me. Mostly, though, it seemed like he never.could.shut.up.
I seriously have yet to encounter one person who didn't lament his departure, so I'm risking major flamage here, but I couldn't stand the guy. I guess I just don't "get" his humor, but he was awkwardly unfunny to me and I'm so glad he's gone.
