Here's my justification for watching it. It is like a car crash. When ever I see a car crash I say see look what happened. In this case I feel the need to quote one of our first ladies, "Just say no to drugs".
And now I will quote another first lady "It takes a village" and in this case it will take a village to knock these losers off the face of the Hollywood map. Watching this made me want to burn every Whitney CD and I can promise you I will never buy another.
BTW - I never bought anything he made or had anything to do with.

Ugh. That was just painful to watch. I guess the only positive thing I saw was that Bobby does seem to go out of his way to acknowledge the fans. Of course he's a famewhore so I suppose thats to be expected. I cannot even comment on Whitney. I'll just say as a lifelong fan, I am disgusted. I never, ever want to hear doodoo boogie again. That was so beyond gross I think I will fast for a week. Like I have a choice after that conversation. One thing cracked me up. The 2 of them stoned off their asses ordering everything on the menu. My ex and I used to do that. Of course we were 17 and at Dennys, but that was what we called a stoners delight.

I wouldn't feel bad watching. These people may be drugged-out ex-famous assholes, but they did this of their own free will. And if they want us to laugh at their stupidity, then I'm game.

When I remembered to turn it on, the poop bubble scene was the one I landed on. I couldn't even watch the entire conversation. I was so grossed out. I will not be watching this show again. I think I'll just check in here from time to time.

Say, what time is it on? If everybody has MIRC we could do a running commentary on how awful it is. Just point your way to:
server: irc.hashnet.org group: #theposition
We can make another chat strictly for riffing, so no biggie there.

I finally watched it last night and I'm surprised at how much I liked it.
Whitney is a bitch though. Completely different then her onstage persona. She has no class whatsoever. I know she was never the ladylike Diva that Clive tried to force on us but I expected her to be somewhat pleasant.
I wasn't expecting much from Bobby so no disappointment there.

Total crapfest...but I'll watch anyway just for the snark value.
Whitney's disdain for her fans is appaling. Granted, it's pretty tacky for fans to disturb their meals and steamroom (WTF?), but for the other times it's almost quicker and easier for her to give a little, and would sure do a whole lot more for her image. Bobby's quote said it all: "I sing for my fans; Whitney sings for the music."
Their interaction is just so...odd. Pity their kid.

Isn't it odd that a show based on these two favors one over the other, and the one it favors is in need of a career and the other is his own wife? You get the feeling this is a halfassed attempt to bash down Whitney so Bobby can be seen in a good light so he can have a career again based solely on pity?

I didn't think Whitney was being a bitch when she got pissed at her fans; the woman was eating, she was in the steamroom, I mean you don't bother anyone when they're in the steamroom. And Bobby just signs autographs because he's glad that anyone recognizes him now. Didn't someone think he was P Diddy?

Wow. Whitney looks like a straight up crack head from my own hood---you know, the ones who hold the door for you and expect a dollar---or go around selling 10 cent ice. She will never be Whitney, ever. It's sad. As for her style, I dont get the scarf on the head ALL the time.
Bobby: NO COMMENT
