I could've sworn that I heard Barbara Eden died a few years ago, so I was pleasantly surprised to see her on the show.

Other celebrities I thought I heard had died only too later see them alive on TV include Tom Bosley and Robert Sean Leonard.

They just called Star to see how she was doing after the surgery and Joy is hillarious. After about 5 minutes of really boring talk, not answering questions talking over questions, Joy told her to stop talking. The camera kept going to Joy during the conversation and not only did she not participate in it until she told Star to sfu, but she could barely keep a civil look on her face.

Is Meredith really going to the Today Show? She would fit in well there, but I thought she liked the schedule of The View with her husband being sick and all. Some days, Meredith's the only sane one; the show would suffer without her.

Katie Couric is widely rumored to be leaving the Today Show in May for the CBS evening news and Meredith is is being considered as her replacement.

^^Yep. It was one of the View's finest moments, along with "HE'S GAY, MEREDITH!" and Star pulling out Meredith's hair extension and throwing it at John Henson.

Poor Meredith deserves better than this. At least they're civilized over at Today; even though that show might mean longer hours, I think it would probably be easier in the long run.

I honesty hope Meredith doesn't go to the Today Show. I honestly have never liked her. There's something so smug and annoying about her. I think my breaking point was when she hosted some Oscar special and was sitting on people's laps before the show started. Yes, compared to everyone else on the show, she's much better but I'd still rather see Campbell Brown get it.

I like Meredith, but the problem is, she's too nice. She doesn't bring the snark like the others.

I hope Viera doesn't get TODAY show, I don't think she and Matt would hit it off. She likes to talk sex and innuendo's all the time and I don't think Matt will put up with her crap. She also appears to have her detractors too. I remember watching her answer phones and someone called in and said they didn't like her, not knowing they were speaking with her at the time. Another time a candidate for intern didn't like her and made the mistake of being caught telling someone and then got humilated on tv by the Pukemaster when he told her that is why she was being dumped.

Campbell Brown is doing a fine job and should be rewarded, let Viera stay with her peeps and tube their show for good.
