Im just watching the latest episode now, and thought Lukas kicked ass - great arrangement of Lithium. And like JD Fortune, hes just a showman - and I bet ya every single girl squealing in that crowd was sure he was making eye contact with her - hes a very flirty frontman.

We just had Ryans performance - pretty good, a bit yell-y though. And Magni was good, although I think anyone can sing I Alone that way. Im hoping Dilana stinks this show. Just not a fan of her anymore.

*edit: yea, didnt really like her performance. Mind you I dont get Mother Mother, not a favourite song at all. And I thought the Supernova guys were just sucking up to her to make up for slamming her last week - Navarro especially.

I still wonder if the drama is made up. Magni didn't even show so much as a scratch on his head after it was bleeding so badly?

I don't know if it's low ratings, or the fact that they want to dial down the Dilana love because she's so obviously the best. Anyway, I don't get the Magni love - he's sort of common to me (shrug).

I got the feeling that the director (do they have those in reality shows?) ran over and made sure Magni didn't wipe that stream of blood off of his head until it was captured on film. Magni just seems more like the guy that would wipe that off and try to diffuse the situation. He said he's has "worse cuts shaving", so I think it was overdramatized by the crew and Ryan. Having said that, if I were SuperNowhere, I wouldn't want a loose canon who throws glass on my tour bus. Chick really made an ass of herself.

I thought Toby rocked and I really liked his singing with Storm, though a bit more interaction between the two on stage would have been nice if they were going for the duet thing. Toby sounds good with everyone: especially love him and Magni together. He wasn't that great vocally at the beginning of Rebel Yell, but I thought it was a good show.

I love Magni and I loved his tune last night. He does real well with Live stuff. I still can't stand Lukas: vocally he just sounds so forced to me and his look is a huge turn-off. Ever since I saw that pic someone made of him as a Lucky Charms guy, that's all I see in my head when he's on screen. I know he's not bad, but I just don't like him. Ryan sunk himself imo. It'll be him or Storm going home this week is my guess.

Dilana rocked her tune, but then she apparently used to sing it as part of her set before, so it seems to me the set-up for this was fixed. Storm gets a song she's never even sung, and Dilana gets one she used to sing before the SN-show?

I think Dilana is the one who wants, and maybe needs, the SN gig more than any of the other contestants. I don't really want Toby or Magni to win: having listened to their stuff from before, they have better material than what it seems SN will have anyway. I just want the two of them to stick around longer. So I voted Magni Magni Magni. IMO, it'll come down to Lukas or Dilana in the end. Magni will then tour with the houseband ('cause I think they love the guy), or he'll set up a new band with Toby. (Why does Toby insist on wearing a shirt? Silly man...)

According to people who were there, they cut out Jason going on a rant about how unfair the portrayal of Dilana was in the clips they showed. And apparently Magni said something about how Dilana (and Storm?) helped him through his own major meltdown crying jag a couple of weeks ago.

I've been waiting for Dilana to sing 'Mother Mother' for weeks now, and I thought it was great. She's still basically a nutter, though.

I like the first 2/3 of Lucas' version of Lithium, but thought the ending suuuuuuuuuuuuuucked.

I think Storm intimidates the hell out of the Supernova guys. Everyone else it seems like they could push around, but not her, she'll fight back if she doesn't like something. Maybe Magni, too - he's so laid back, I could see him just ignoring them and doing whatever he wants no matter what they say.

Are we sure Magni isn't actually the lead singer of Live looking for a new job?

Magni does seem very laidback and seems to get on with everyone pretty much. I read some transcript of an interview with some of his Icelandic band members and they couldn't remember him ever being hostile or fighting with anyone. A guy who has a new baby, is engaged to his highschool sweetheart and apparently talks to Dilana for hours... the man's a frikking saint! Not cut out for Supernova though imo. You're too good for 'em man!! *fangirl squeeing*

Someone over at Rockband.com posted that, and then someone else posted that it had been denied by someone associated with SN? Can't find it right now... But who knows? If it is true, they'd still deny it of course.

This show is starting to mirror the INXS version, where there was a dominant female talent (Jordis) who somehow imploded when it got closer to actually winning. Is Dilana heading down the same road?

I still think her voice and style are the best fit for the band but I don't want her or Magni to win. They're better than SuperNoNo. I secretly hope they hire Lukas the creepy troll, so they can all go away and suck together.
