I don't remember the girl's name, but she was a fat girl with dark hair that was going around taking invitations away from someone and just berating the girl with the stolen invitation. I had forgotten how accepted that sort of thing was back in jr. high and high school. This was Sophie. She's the one I just could not stand.

Ugh! Sophie, that fucking cow. On Jjb, they had her myspace pictures and apparently, she states specifically that "there is to be no hate mail, because it is not tolerated". That made me laugh, because it is obvious that the lardass has been getting some.
Her whole attitude during that episode was just asking for a beatdown ya'll. I could not believe what she told her mother when she wanted to go to Yum Yum saying that they should go because "the world revolves around me today". Then when they show her trying to run(she was trying, but the fatass just couldn't) from saying something to the bouncers or someone and it was apparent that the dress didn't fit her linebacker shoulders. Never had my fist itched so much. As for the screaming at that one girl for the invitation, she would have gotten her ass beat where I am from. I especially wanted to slap her when she said that people thought she was a b*tch, but they wanted to be her since she was "blessed".
This whole show just cements my belief that kids should be spanked. In cases like Sophie, get their asses beat into next year.

Sophie's a cow, literally and figuratively.
I really don't like that snot. Her MySpace is pretty funny though. All praise and kiss-ass comments.

I watched the first season of this show on MTV Canada (until it turned into Razer WTF?). I know it's trash programming but damn it managed to lure me in before Laguna Beach did. I actually watched this show more than LB. For some reason I have a hard time following series with continuing story lines. I like the episode with Cee-Lo's (a rapper) daughter. I don't even think that she was turning 16! Only 15. She was all being ghetto fabulous and being divaish. Insisting that she's a star and making her wanting to make her grand entrance from a helicopter. Oh yeah and that thing with how the show was trying to make it look like she's all cool with Bow Wow *Snickers* Girl, just because you bought clothes from his Momma's store don't mean that he knows you and will go to your part, okay? Hehehe! Another episode I liked was Ava. IIRC they went to Paris to look for a dress and then she ends up wearing a Cavalli knockoff! Hahaha! This girl was hella spoiled and bratty.

I saw the tail end of the Jazmin episode. God, she sucked. Who the hell picks a fight with their best friend on their birthday?

I came across the show by accident, thinking MTV was footing the bill, until one kid admitted his dad paid half a mil for his party. I watched the next one just to make sure I got the concept right: Parents pay half a million dollars while their bad-ass kids disrespect them, just to impress their friends. Obviously, Scared Straight needs to have some sequels....

Does anyone know if you can get this on DVD? I've looked but can't find it anywhere. I haven't heard anything. I'll get my brother to check the computers at the store he works at. He usually can tell what release dates are for me. I can't imagine how hostile I would be if I did have this show on DVD, just thinking about some of the spoiled stupid whores makes my blood boil. But I still watch every single episode, it's freaking crack! How awful was the girl who dyed her poodles pink and got the 2 cars? She was such a bitch, I don't think she was nearly as hot as she thought she was. And the pink dogs were just cruel and ridiculous.

The fathers of these girls look as though they are one embezzlement-Ken-Lay-Enron-corruption scandal away from being hauled off to prison.
They should do a follow-up if any of those kids fall under that plot when their daddies' funds are frozen while they're in jail. The father of that 15-year-old in Miami girl looks like he's involved in some serious shady dealings.

They never are. That's the sad thing about this show, these girls (and boys, sometimes) have an underlying need to prove they are worthy of praise by throwing an ostentatious party that people will beg them for invitations to.
Oh, yeah, and by having it televised so that everyone in America can see how many "friends"/how much money they have.

From the article:
Really?
I only watched one episode of this (the one where the whiny girl went to Paris to shop for a dress and was carried to the party Arabian Nights-style) and that was enough. Most reality shows are full of morons. The difference is that these morons get to waste a huge amount of money; I don't find that entertaining.
