New show on USA Network--a guy fakes psychic powers to get out of trouble and winds up working for the cops. Main character seems a little glib (tm CTC), but likeable. Dule Hill plays his best friend/partner, and I love DH from West Wing.

I watched some of this last night, and I liked it. The main character reminded me of JD from Scrubs (it might have been the way he talked).

I liked the comedy, even though the two partners can seem a little formulaic. The comedy actually stood out more to me than the detective work or the mystery.

I agree. I think that in this show, just like on Monk, the actual mystery is secondary to the quirkiness of the characters.

Dule Hill was awesome on The West Wing, and his character here is so different from Charlie. I laughed way too hard when Gus screamed after seeing the bodies. And when he locked the doors of the car in the alley. "It's a bad neighborhood!" Dule rocks.

I also laughed at just about every other line out of Shawn's mouth. I don't watch Scrubs so I don't get the comparison to J.D. But he was very entertaining to watch. Gus must have the patience of a saint to be friends with Shawn for just about their entire lives.

Will definitely watch it next week.

I love this show; been watching it from the start and like how the actors continue to work really well together. I even like Corbin Bernsen as Shawn's dad; love the flashback in the beginning of each show.

Dule Hill is quite adorable, too. Love him.

I love the little bits they play over the credits at the end, I think my favorite was Lassiter and Juliet singing Leaving on a Jet Plane while Shawn was goofing off in the background. These guys clearly have a great time making this show and it makes it a more enjoyable experience.

The season is going to end in a few weeks. I just got into this show and I love it so much. It's so funny.

Whoooo! I'm loving this show so much. I like it better than Monk. Some of the references get a little tired but the Billy Zane mention last week had my dying.

It scares me whenever I understand a reference on this show--but damn they're hilarious.
