The producers answered the "Why kill Renee?" question, and they basically trotted out the lame excuse that Jack needed an emotional investment to get back in the game. So...she couldn't have been seriously wounded & lingered near death's door? I think that would have been enough motivation for Jack to find & eliminate the baddies. It sucks that they killed her & once again Jack has to suffer because he fell in love.

The producers also knew people would be wondering how long it would take for Jack to have sex & had to take that into consideration. He said the 20 mins represented the 1st round.

So, I think I have said before that Cherry Jones is from my husband's hometown in Tennessee. He had her mom as an English teacher. So my MIL goes to vote today and runs into Cherry Jones' sister. My MIL is a fan and told her (Susan, I think her name was) that Cherry's president was not that nice of a character this season. Susan tells my MIL that she talked to Cherry last week and she told her that by the end of the season, Cherry did not think she would be able to get a cab in NYC!

So take that how you will, but I think that is kinda an indication of where this season is headed.

Remember when D.B. Sweeney was a movie star? Like, starred in movies? Movies that were released in theaters? And now he's a bit player in "24". That's sad. Even sadder was that I didn't recognize him for most of his short time in this episode.

Oh no, that was D.B. Sweeney! I knew I recognized him but he looked so different. I used to have such a huge crush on him in junior high.

My husband and I agreed that Charles Logan is hands down the best character ever on 24. He is just so awesome in his deviousness.

What a waste! Not a Katee Sackhoff fan to begin with, so this only served to make me dislike her even more. I was so freaking happy when Jack pulled the trigger. I felt as if he was not only doing that for Renee, but for all of us. Too bad Dana didn't take out Cole. He's a waste of space too.

That's what I was hoping for. Dana was a complete waste of space with possibly the exception of this one episode. I would've liked Cole to join her. FPJ is so hopeless, you can see the gears grinding every time he has to "act". You can tell he's acting because of his earnestness, furrowed brow, and spotty accent. Leave the acting to Smidge.
