Anyway, back to the show...what were your least favorite episodes? "Home" grossed me out so much. That was the first time I cringed while watching. Didn't mind FlukeMan or Tooms, but those freaks just made me sick.

I thought Home was gross too....not necessarily creepy in a good way, just sort of over-the-top, gratuitously disgusting.
I think my least favorites might be that one episode with the guy from India who crawled around on the floor? I don't even know what happened in the episode, I've blocked it out of my memory. I think it was called "Badlaa" though. Oh, and there's also an episode called "The Field Where I Died," which is just silly and dumb, and includes some scenery-chewing "past-life-regression" scenes.

I can never remember the names of episodes, but I do remember Bad Blood. Actually I think most of season 5 was excellent. I'd say that's my favourite 'season'. I also liked the season 6 ep where Mulder and Scully pretended to be a couple living in suburbia.

I also liked the season 6 ep where Mulder and Scully pretended to be a couple living in suburbia. "Arcadia." I actually remember that one. My friends and I couldn't get over all of the rules. We laughed for weeks. Now, it's not so funny since I live in a sub-division with the HOA from hell. Did I read somewhere that they were releasing the MOTW episodes in a special collection? Or maybe they were just doing it with the Mythology ones and I just filled in the rest. It just makes so much sense to me since so many people only like one or the other, it just seems like it has to be real.

My parents weren't as into the show as I was, but they watched most of the episodes, and for some reason they thought the scene in Arcadia where Mulder puts the flamingo on the lawn and says, "Bring it on," was so hilarious that they bought me a lawn flamingo as a joke. It's in my closet right now. My parents are weird.
There were some pretty boring episodes that I can't even remember anymore, but if I had to pick a least favorite it would probably be the one where the people all had those digusting boils all over their faces, and they kept popping...it was so gross.

Oh, yes. The episode where the little Indian guy who rolled around on a cart occasionally crawled up people's butts and killed them for no apparent reason. Seriously. Crawled up. Their. Butts. That is one of my least favorite episodes as well, though Jessica's recap of it over at TWOP is hilarious.
I really want to know what they were smoking in the writers' room when that one got pitched.

Oh, and there's also an episode called "The Field Where I Died," which is just silly and dumb, and includes some scenery-chewing "past-life-regression" scenes. That was the first episode I thought of when I saw the question. Man, that one sucked. And I liked "Home," gratuitous grossness and all. I was a big X-Files fan back in 7/8th grade, right around when season 5 aired. I watched all the repeats until I caught up. Then I stopped watching a couple of episodes into the 8th season. In my mind, the show ended with Mulder's abduction, and that's it. I'm firmly planted in denial.

Thank you! I knew it was something heinous. That one reminds me of the one when they put the slug in Scully's back. Or tried to, I don't remember if they succeeded. It was seriously gross.

They did, but she kept her hands over the back of her neck so it couldn't get to her brain.
And I agree about that stupid one with the past lives.

XF is still my favorite TV show of all time. I just started watching all the DVD episodes from the pilot on. There are far more good ones than stinkers, IMO. I didn't like the one with the killer kitties, the veterans with insomnia, and, OY, The Field Where I Died was baaad. But, damn I love Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose (and Peter Boyle, may he RIP).
