This is my first season watching ,so would they ever do that? Send home a member from the winning team? Would that have been an all out group win with Frank being the individual win, thereby keeping Betty safe? Or could she have been sent home anyway?

not to drag up an old episode, but... I had Betty's Grilled portobello mushroom & cheese sandwich with a cup of roasted red pepper soup, at TGIFridays, this weekend. And all I could say was "OH MY GOD this is soooooooo good". It was very flavorful, filling, and vegetarian! There aren't any TGIFridays anywhere close to me, so I am gonna go along time without having this again

I thought it was interesting when the judge asked whose idea it was to make pizza that Frank raised his hand. It was actually Betty who suggested the pizza. Marcel wanted to make asparagus with thinly sliced proscuitto and Betty was the one who said "Kids love pizza."
Since Frank was the one who actually made the pizza, I guess it all evened out, but it really wasn't his idea.
I wonder if it will be tense in the kitchen now that they've been told that they're on probation.

Not really OT for the current discussion, but I gotta say that Padma Lakshmi is one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen in my life. And she's clearly very happy and comfortable being her, and I love how she isn't self-conscious about that big gnarly scar on her arm. This show is so much better now that it has a suitably charismatic host, and Salman Rushdie is a lucky, lucky man. That is all.

This is my first year watching the show. Its interesting. Though many of the combos sound unappetizing. Its a good filler though until Project Runway returns.

I wonder if two will be eliminated tonight since they are working in pairs. This had to be a last minute adjustment since there should have been 11 contestants for the next challenge.

That was awesome. I felt like doing a penguin happy dance. It was an interesting quickfire, but I've never been a fan of innards, so I didn't really want to try any of those dishes. I can't believe that they didn't coordinate the menu before splitting up to prepare the individual courses. Stupid.

That was stupid. Mia and Betty may have screwed up their course, but they appear to be the only ones who wanted to try and get everyone on the same page.
And, with this week, it really crystalized that Cliff and Sam are the frontrunners (though I think Elan is right on their tails). They seem to get it exactly right every single time.
