Matt and he are best friends? With benefits, I'd wager.

I've always been of the thought that Ben and Matt played up to that image a lot for marketing purposes, much like the LotR hobbits and they did it very well. I honestly don't think either of them are gay.

I like Ben, even during the Bennifer 1.0 era when he was acting like a complete idiot, I'd want so badly to hate him but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. He just reminds me of my brother and his friends. Frat boys that liked to drink, watch sports, gamble and get laid when they were still young. And now that they're in their 30s, they seemsto have grown up a little bit and are settling down with families and such.

And it looks like Ben's finally making some good career choices as well. He's not the lead actor trying to bank on his fame in his upcoming films, they're ensemble films with people like Diane Lane, Adrien Brody and Andy Garcia. I don't think he's the worst actor evah! like people tend to make him out to be. He's never going to win an Oscar, but he's not that bad.

I'll be interested to see how his Directorial debut goes, especially now that Ed Harris has put pen to paper and signed on. And if Morgan Freeman does indeed sign on, those are some big names right there.


God, I can't believe I just wrote that much about Ben Affleck. Amazing the lengths I'll go to to procrastinate writing a paper.

Yeah, this is one of the few things that keeps me from totally hating him.

Also, I have to admit I really do feel a little sorry for anybody who has so many high-profile flops in a row. Granted, he totally brought a lot of it on himself, and he's still richer than I'll ever be so I don't feel that bad, but... ouch.

Never liked Ben. I hated how he sucked up to the press and public, specially how apologetic he was over the Jennifer Lopez fiasco. I saw his Lynx ad on TV last week, horrible, it was. And last night I had a dream that we were making out in an apple orchard. NowI find him kind of attractive.
