I'm not a fan of either of them, less of her maybe, but so close who cares. I think they both have problems, I hope things turn out positive for their baby, but watching the highs and lows (and there will be lows) of this relationship will make for some good snark in the future.

To help lighten things up, think about this. You know how Jenfleck are always covering their faces from the cameras? I can see them all out for a walk with the baby and the first sign of cameras the baby lifts it's blanket over it's face, just like mom and dad.

I was talking to dh-who never ever gets into this stuff-about this, and he made the comment that Ben is just a guy from Boston..... It reminded me of the early days, when Ben and Matt seemed so normal. I saw an older film interview with JG and she was saying how *nice* Ben was to *everyone* (reading even minor "nurse" characters...) on the set of Pearl Harbor. I bet he got caught up in the JLo makeover and found he was really unhappy, and got out and tried to go back to his "roots". Okay, so his roots are grunge (and even with grunge, he can sure look sexy.....as long as he loses the cigarettes!), but still, I think that maybe he is trying to be honest about it, and JenG seems to accept that.

I'm still eagerly awaiting some dribbles of info about their wedding. I think it's nice! And I think in some silly (considering photographers follow her everywhere) but sweetly old-fashioned way, it was kind of nice that they held off on announcing her pregnancy until she was married. I mean, there's the obvious, and then there's flaunting the obvious.

It is funny how she doesn't accept smoking from her past boyfriends, but lets it slide with him. She even allows him to smoke in front of her even though she is pregnant, which is pathetic.

I am sorry, but the little respect I had for Ms. Garner has past. Nobody is saying she is a homewrecking whore either. I am just saying that for her camp to state the obvious fact of her pregnancy after the convenience of marriage just says that she still thinks her girl next door image is valid, and she expects people to be stupid enough to believe it too. And that is when the dislike comes in for me. Nothing is wrong with getting pregnant and then getting married, it is just the stupidity of announcing it after she gets married. She herself implies that there is something wrong with getting pregnant out of wedlock when she does something like that.

Topic? I used to be one of the biggest fans of Ben Affleck. Now I think he is a disgusting jerk, and I don't care how many people think Jen Garner is a saint who is so good for Ben. He still looks dirty, he still smokes like a chimney.

Kevin Smith reported in his blog that Jennifer told him the gender of baby Affleck. Makes you wonder if the baby girl reports are really true.
