I might lose my mod status for this opinion but this is a funny show. It might be a one trick pony of self parody of Tori's life but, come on, they made the quote, Donna Martin Graduates, into a punch line.
Last night's partial shot of Shannon Dougherty with the cowboy boots with the skirt was great.

I didn't see last night but I watched the one where she threw a party and it did make me laugh. I especially love all of her flashbacks to childhood. Especially when she says something nasty about Farrah and someone was like "Why do you hate Farrah so much?" and she flashed back to her childhood where she's in the make-up trailer with a blonde wig and someone says "No no, we need a PRETTY child to play Farrah in the flashback." and then they rip the blonde wig off of her and put the brown one on. Heh.

I saw the one that looked like it was a spoof on Scientology and actually really enjoyed it. I might have to make a point of watching this show.

Tons of fun. I love Loni Anderson as her bitchy mother. And all those high school flashbacks? Hysterical.

I really like this show, I've even set Tivo to record all the new episodes. She just comes off so likeable in it. And Loni Anderson's so fabulous in her role, I love how she says "Toto" and the bits about her selling partially used bath items on Ebay were hysterical.

I've caught a couple episodes and this show is fun. Even if it is an act and Tori really isn't trying to be a normal gal trying to make it in Hollywood, I do admire the way she's so willing to laugh at herself and all the stories/rumors about her.
I especially liked her "audition" in disguise for her Dad for 90210 (paraphrasing):
And now here's an actress you've never seen before - Dori Sperling!
(Tori in a bad wig and glasses, reading from the script): Uh...Hi, Brandon...
Aaron Spelling: You're hired! She's perfect for the role!

I thought the latest episode (with the audition for Soderbergh and the missing Blackberry) was hilarious! The way the kept saying "You assulted someone's balls" cracked me up, but the icing on the cake was the horrible audition with Tori wearing shiny black leather cracking a whip while screaming that she was going to kill her Brazillian pimp. Oh my! It was funny and not in a "oh, well it is better than I thought" sort of way.

I used to rather dislike Tori herself, and then I just grew indifferent. But with this show, I actually like her. She seems to have a sense of humor and is able to laugh at herself. Definitely has potential as a camp icon.

I love this show. Tori just seems so loveable to me now...and well, it's making me wonder why so many people were making fun of her in the first place. She's so sweet! I really am fond of any self-deprecating humor (to a point) because there tends to be a lot of 'humanity' in it. Like the entire show just seems so fresh and redeeming. And entertaining...which is the most important thing. TV needs to entertain us, not tell us how to run our lives.
