I don't mind Screech not coming back.
Screech was funny he was younger, but some weird transformation took place and he became unfathomably annoying. I don't understand what happened; his acting just became extremely irritating to watch.

Well, for one thing, he was faking the teenage voice break for WAY too long and making those STUPID faces past the point that it was funny/cute. But yes, "unfathomably annoying" is a good descriptor.

Yes, he did this too much. The weird thing is that the adoloscent Screech was actually mature and smart while the older Screech was a buffoon of some kind. Also, younger Screech was quick-witted and quite astute. Young Screech was both academic smart and common sense smart. Older Screech was totally not with it and kind of dumb in spite of acing all his academic tests. I don't even remember younger Screech making weird faces. Or, if he did, at least they were tolerable.
I kept wondering how Zach and Slater and Kelly and Jesse and especially Lisa had the self-control not to want to strangle older Screech.

If the book is entirely "The cast didn't like me, had various teenage crushes they've already told everyone about, and Mark-Paul Gossellaar grew up really hot," I don't see how anyone will buy it. Because that's what that sneakpeek is.

I don't think anyone will buy if Screech's current face is on it. He's rather unnattractive.
I figured Mario Lopez was a serial womanizer.
I've never done drugs, but pot use doesn't shock me. If he had said heroin, then I would have been surprised.
I thought Zach just gained a lot of fat rather than muscle before filming The College Years. Anyway, he looked bad. But I thought he looked bloated rather than like he was on steroids.

Agreed on the non-muscle weight gain. Mark-Paul Gooselaar looked like he had EATEN Screech in that TV movie in Hawaii where he got married to Kelly. He looks great now though. |

I think he went through a time where he bulked up for a made-for-TV movie or something, and then instead of getting back down to his normal size, he just lost all the muscle and it was just plain fat.
DD is full of shit. Just another angle for him to make money off of.
