How about the circus that was Who Wants to Marry a Multi-Millionaire or whatever it was called? The look on Darva Conger's face at the exact moment she saw her new husband was priceless. And the way she cringed when she had to kiss him.
Oh and the fun lasted for a while, with Darva coming back to do all those TV interviews to inform us that her decision to pose for "Playboy" was made after having much discussion about it with God.

How about the circus that was Who Wants to Marry a Multi-Millionaire or whatever it was called? Total example of hypocricy (sp?) in America. They won't let two gay people who really love each other get married, but they'll televise a quicky marriage between a gold digger and a guy looking for a trophy wife. Which one really violates the sanctity of marriage? Sheesh.

I certainly agree with that!
What a trainwreck that show was. I watched it and I'm still ashamed. But I laughed and laughed after rumors started swirling that Rick Rockwell (was that his name?) wasn't a millionaire at all, and FOX released a statement saying he was. My paper wrote something like, "Reports are flying that Rockwell is not a millionaire. FOX insists he definately is a millionaire." It sounded so unbelievably dumb. How hard is it to find out for sure anyways?

Anybody watching Eurovision Song Competition? Because it is just one Spectacularly Bad TV Moment after another, but I wouldn't miss it!
Also, does anyone remember OJ hosting SNL back in the early/mid 80's? It was about the time that Walter Payton was threatening to break one of OJ's rushing records (the NFL season was going to be increased by a game or two the following year, so if Payton did not break the record, then OJ would keep it)
Anyway, OJ did a skit, where he hosted a football party at his house. Everyone was in the living room watching the Bears play the last game of the regular season. OJ is cheering on Walter, and generally giving the impression of being a good sport. His friends comment on it, and he gives this big spiel about how it would be an honour if someone of Walter Payton's caliber broke his record.
OJ then goes into to kitchen to get everyone more beer. He reaches into the freezer and pulls out a voodoo doll of Walter and stabs it repeatedly with an ice pick. He put the doll back and goes back to his friends. The game ends and Payton does not break his record and OJ turns completely obnoxious and does the victory dance and celebrates. Maybe I should have posted this under Completely Creepy TV Moments.
None of my friends remember this. Anyone on this board old enough/football fan enough to back me up on this?

*dreamy sigh* It's best if you can get the BBC commentary with it. It's a scream!

I have to add one: Watching Greg and Peter Brady play lovers on That 70s Show. *shudders*

At last some spice added to the Song contest! It was so boring last year, well every year really.

Giving this thread a major bump based on what I just saw on MSN.com: ABC's decision last week to greenlight a half-hour pilot program based on Geico's popular cavemen characters highlights the blurring line between advertising and entertainment, as well as the trouble the network has had in launching successful sitcoms.articles.moneycentral.msn.com/Investing/Extra/AreGeicoCavemenReadyForPrimeTime.aspxJust...WTF? I mean, the commercials are entertaining enough, but...seriously?
