Why would they replace the music? I am distraught. I hope the craptastic Jeremy Jordan video will be featured. My friends and I still shout "Jeremy JORdan!" a la Donna. Jeremy Jordan, ALRIGHT! (shakes head) Man, as much as I loved this show I will never, ever forgive them for the "I choose me" cop-out that they gave to us when Kelly had to pick between Brandon and Dylan. Also, I freaking hated self-righteous Kelly and Dylan when they told Brenda about their cheating and expected it to be OK. I would have a real tough time ever speaking to my best friend if she ever betrayed me on that level. And I stopped watching when they put 90210 up against Dawson's Creek. That was my crack during the first few seasons. I've watched some of the reruns of the later seasons and I hate HATE HATE the fact that ALCOHOLIC Dylan is casually drinking and NO ONE has problem with this.

I've been watching all the SoapNet reruns and I forgot how self-righteous and arrogant Brandon was. I didn't watch the later college and Gina years at the time, so I have only seen it on SoapNet. He was so rude and condescending to everyone, even Kelly who he was supposedly in love with.

Season 9 is the only one I haven't seen. Season 9 vs. Dawson's Creek Season 2? Um, no contest. I would have seen DC S3 firstrun too, but my roommate insisted we watch 90210 (bitch) and then we lost our WB affiliate so it didn't matter anyway.
I say all of this knowing that 90210 is still my favorite show.
Darren Starr's commentary SUCKS.

Donna Martin getting drunk at the prom and then not allowing to walk is up there with Jessie Spano's "I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so scared" as the top cheesy moments. Totally. Oh, thanks for reminding me of that classic SBTB moment that I had actually forgotten about. Man, I love our generation. Ditto on the Brenda love. In the pre-college years, Kelly was just a barbie doll with a typical rich-gal attitude. Then she totally became all high and mighty. Brenda was great - fiesty, spirited, strong, indepedent. And I think Shannen Doherty was waaay more gorgeous than Jennie Garth. I can still remember those eyes and chocolate brown bangs vividly, but when I think Kelly I just get a generic pretty blonde girl image.

I'm going to be the wild child and declare my love for Kelly. I didn't hate Brenda, but I thought she was annoying. Not as annoying as horseface Donna, but she still got on my nerves. I think I lost it with her during the whole summer in Paris, "Let's pretend I'm French" deal.
This show is my guilty pleasure - I loved it from the get go (mainly because they were close to my age - I was a year ahead of them) and love it still. I watch the reruns on SoapNet whenever I remember or get a chance.
"DONNA MARTIN GRADUATES!"

Anyone have the dolls? As a kid, I got the Brenda one. And the 1995 calendar? Still have it somewhere. I can't part with it.

I had the Brandon doll - he always ended up with whoever was my favorite Barbie at the time. It was usually this Spanish Barbie that I made Hispanic. My Brandon, however, never turned their relationship into a Very Special Episode about racism and he actually stayed with her for more than a week. But, yeah, he was the main guy. The bitchier Barbies who tried to break them up got stuck with Danny Wood and whatever Ken doll I hated enough to slap the Jonathan Sweater on.

I remember sobbing as a kid because my mom refused to buy me any of the dolls. She thought it was a trashy soap. Of course, she was right, but still. Meanwhile, my best friend hated the show, and got the whole set as a Christmas gift. I was so jealous.

I would have been jealous too. My mom has this videotape that we made for my aunt of us just hanging around the house, and in the video I was looking through some kind of magazine and exclaimed "Ooh, 90210 dolls!". I wanted one so bad. Never got one though dammit.
I guess I liked Kelly more than Brenda. I just found Brenda to be so annoying and bratty. She just needed to be slapped. Plus, I could not stand Shannon Doherty's teeth. I never understood why Dylan liked her in the first place. But I did warm up to them as a couple, and they really were more interesting that he and Kelly were.
Who did Brandon go to the prom with? I can't remember. All I can remember is Brenda and Kelly wore the same dress and Dylan got the hotel room to pop Brenda's cherry.

Didn't Brandon go with On-dree-ah? Or was it Kelly?
