I love this show! When it first came out I did a lot of mental eye rolling. I just couldn't see the value of watching another over-indulged musician and his family live life. But Reverend Run seems to work hard at raising privlidged children who appreciate their lives and what they have. He just seems to work at making his world a better place and it's a nice thing to see. I like his wife too, she's such a cute ditz.
Love it? Hate it? What do you think?

I haven't seen more than a handful of episodes. I actually didn't even know she wasn't the mother of his older 3 children til a month ago, because they seem so close and loving, so it's nice to see a blended family that really works.
I just want to know why the 2 little ones have such bizarre nicknames - what could Diggy's real name possibly be?
But the episode where the girls thought their father would pay $10,000 or more a month to rent an apartment for them? Damn! I figured they were typical clueless spoiled brats at that point.

Oh yea, the two eldest girls are a bit delusional -- the combination of daddy being wealthy and being young and hot has gone to their heads. He is aware that it is an issue and works to discourage that kind of behavior. It's not like he's Ozzy O, giving his kids unsupervised access to credit cards.

Russy and Diggy are named after Run's older brothers Russell and Daniel.

I love this show, but it can get a little irritating with all the yelling. I think the girls are cute and I love their accents. I know people who have been born and raised in New York, and don't have accents that pronounced. Rev Run is somewhat annoying and really embarrassingly loud at times. Does he have a hearing problem that we are not aware of?

I love this show. I just think Run and Justine are such good parents, and they are such a wonderful portrayal of a blended family. She does not treat the 3 older kids ANY differently than she does the younger ones, and I just think that is so admirable.
Rev Run is annoying though. But I'll give him a pass for being such a concerned, AWARE father.

When I remember that it's on, I'll watch. They are such a sweet family. The last episode I saw was when Justine put Run in charge of doing errands which included taking to the dog to the groomer's...that poor dog.

I have a love/hate relationship with this show. I like the scenes where "Rev" Run is laying the tough love/smackdown on the kids when they deserve it, but I hate it when all they seem to show is his wife always whining and his super expensive cars. What exactly does this Rev do? Even though the advice is usually solid at the end, having him in the elaborate tub and textmessaging his "word" can grate a bit. The kids are OK though and seem to act a lot like kids their age with the exception of the Model daughter. I also like that Uncle Russell is sometimes hard on the boys. I think it is because he wants them to get tougher and not let themselves down by settling for less than what they can be which is easy when you have so much.

Oh my! I laughed and laughed at that poor dog with his "lion" hair-do. Hilarious even if it was staged for the cameras.
I wasn't too into this show during the first season but the second one is much funnier to me. I think it is more staged than the first season but the family interactions still seem genuine and sweet. I am glad they went ahead with a second season.
I will just add my admiration for the way that the family works. From episodes during the first season, it seems like the older kids still see their birth mother and that she has a good relationship with Justine. It really is nice to see a loving, blended family on television (that you wouldn't even know was blended based on the way the kids are treated by Justine).
