I have never gotten the whole "reality TV" deal. The last thing I want coming out of my TV is anything like reality. But my son talked me into watching the first 2 episodes with him and I have to admit I'm hooked.
Last time around, they got costume makeovers. This one guy (I don't remember names) told Stan...as in, Stan Lee, people, that makes it awesome right there...he told Stan he loved his new costume, but he really didn't, and when he rejoined the group they were making fun of him so he went back to his old costume (after cutting off the funky-ass rooster feathers on his new helmet). He got eliminated for not telling the truth. Then there's Big Smelly Steroidal Jerk Guy With Huge Penis-Compensator Gun Thing who was also eliminated last show. Afterwards, Stan recruited him to stick around as the show's Super Villain. Cuz you can't have Superheroes without Super Villians. Then there's another guy who looks and acts a bit like Jim Carrey and does this weird double-hand-pointing-gun thing when he runs (girlishly), or maybe it's a white boy dance move...whatever it is, it's hilarious. And when Monkey Girl climbed the tree in her skimpy costume, first ep, there were some great butt shots. See, this show has something for everybody. She's tough, though, that banana encrusted Monkey Girl. Those two attack dogs dragged her all over that back yard for like 10 minutes and she never cried "uncle."
Yes, I confess, I am hooked. And... [Maxwell Smart] loving it. [/Maxwell Smart]

Heee! This show is my new guilty pleasure! The guy who is a villian I swear only has one boob. or pec. It is disturbing. Plus from the looks of it Stan Lee lives in all Televisions.
I really think the Major Victory, or as I call him "faggy run guy" will take it all. Since he is always in charater

I'm glad someone else noticed that. It looked to me like he had a botched moob reduction or something.
And I adore Major Victory. There is no way he cannot win.
And with that, I am taking myself to the reality show self-help group to break my addiction to these shows.

My dog woke me up at around 1:00 AM last week and I turned on the tv since I couldn't fall back asleep and I ran across this. This show is so cheesy and bad that it is awesome.
Major Victory is so cheesy and awesome. He'll have to screw up big time in order to lose this thing, otherwise, unless someone does something spectacular, it is his. I loved how he crossed the lawn to the old lady's house with two attack dogs hanging off his arms. I think Monkey Girl is mildly insane, but I gotta give her credit for never giving up on the dogs. And I loved how Fat Mama threw the donut in hopes of distracting the dogs, but they weren't having it. The dogs must be on Atkins. And the other guy - I don't know his name, the one with the "F" on his costume - he looks exactly like Greg Kinnear in Mystery Men.
I missed the first episode - what do these people get if they win? Their own comic book or an appearance in a comic book or something like that?
I'm so glad this thread popped up and reminded me that this was on tonight.

I was working on the computer tonight while Gracie Spawn #2 was watching this. That's exactly what I thought!
The first thing out of my mouth after viewing about 5 minutes was "What is this crap?!" However, I made sure that no one else saw me glance at the television off and on for the next two hours.

Monkey Girl is gone! Monkey Girl is gone! Monkey Girl is gone! 'Tis a sad, sad day at Castle URL.
The "F On Costume" guy is Feedback. Why Feedback? He defeats his enemies with high pitched sounds? That I cannot answer. But I do know the guy has one facial expression, equal parts macho and duh.

I'm so happy that SciFi ran the first two episodes before the new one tonight and I got to catch up - and see Major Victory run through the park and take the time to pause and do the little "hand gun" gesture at the pigeons before taking off again. That dude is just awesome.
I can't believe Monkey Woman is gone. It is too bad that she screwed up while just trying to be nice to the guy, but she must have totally forgotten what she was doing. At that point in the show, she must have known that every little thing they do has some sort of twist that is a hidden test. She should have known that the assignment would be more than "go to a restaurant wearing your costume and order lunch."
I want Major Victory to win because he's the most fun. Feedback is taking the whole thing so seriously I'm afraid he'll jump in front of a truck if he doesn't win.
Oh - and I looked at scifi.com and you can see profiles of all the superheroes there as well as a list of their powers (explains why people have names like "Feedback" and "Cell Phone Girl").

This is the fakest "reality" show I've ever seen. The storyline has obviously been written into the show, and the participants (actors) are doing improv around it.

The winner gets not only a comic book but a TV movie on Sci-Fi Channel, right? Major Victory is the only one I would sit through a 2 hour TV movie of. Creature kind of bothers me. When the two teenage boys I watch this show with say she's wearing too little clothing, then she's definitely wearing too little clothing.

I'm guessing they went ahead and got actors to do this thing since they probably didn't want a total newbie starring in the own tv movie. However, this has been highly entertaining, and I'm enjoying it a lot more than the usual reality shows. That's my thinking, too. Major Victory is just good cheesy fun (how can you not love a guy who says, "Grab onto my sexy hips!" as he "saves" a girl from a burning rooftop?). I can't picture Fat Momma, Creature, or Lemuria carrying a movie (even a tv movie) by themselves, and unless he really unleashes some charm, I have my doubts about Feedback - he's just way too serious. Major Victory can put on a two hour cheese-fest that would at least be entertaining while you watch it (if ultimately forgettable).
