Sorry! The ending scene must be causing me to black out the show and this thread. My vote's with Audrey. So I guess this is the big hit (besides Ugly Betty) of the new shows of the fall TV season -- full season pickup, cover of TV guide next week, etc.

I'm finding I'm watching this show despite it's glaring faults. I find Hiro annoying beyond belief (and I hope his sidekick plays an increasing role to offset the buggin'). PornMom digs the most shallow graves imaginable while her kid lies asleep throughout the clanking in the back of the convertible four hours into a blazing sun morning? After his oh-so-caring mom transports him across the state, just inches from rotting corpses? Dude.
Sylar's NY lair was way too much like John Doe's in Se7en. I know imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but seriously. MindReader-Cop could've defused the arrest situation much earlier, had he, oh, I dunno, used four brain cells to realize that, hey, "I can hear what people are saying while they don't speak". That means you can read minds, dorkus.
This show will probably be even more annoying than LOST but I'll watch it more faithfully than I will LOST, if for no other reason than to see if HoverBrother removes his shirt to reveal the lean musculature hinted-at in a few scenes.

From the comments section in the article linked by whatever: Wow. Too bad for those two that 7th Heaven got cancelled. The gore -- I mean, Gore -- was comic booky, not particularly horrific but, hey, I guess they haven't picked up a comic book, like, ever. Other than Betty & Veronica, I mean. Did they just buy up all the cheerleader costumes from Hayden Panettiere's previous role in Bring it On: All or Nothing?

I can't believe that the gore freaked them out. People who aren't desensitized make me giggle. I sort of want to force them to watch a few episodes of Oz.

That was a great episode. So Micah knows what his mom's doing - "it's acting", but with your clothes off. FutureHiro with his soul patch was so cute.
Only a few nitpicks - why didn't FutureHiro have a Japanese accent at all? Are there seriously any high schools around the country where cheerleaders where their uniforms to school all day long?

Back when I was in HS, the cheerleaders wore their uniforms all day on days we had pep rallies (of course, my school was in the South yet had no air-conditioning, so it probably wasn't a good role model). That said, Claire's school must have pep rallies every other day. Give the girl a wardrobe, dammit! We've established that she's a cheerleader; we don't need to see the uniform all the dang time.
Also: "Save the cheerleader, save the earth"? Eh? Couldn't they have used her name or something?

I have this image of Claire throwing open the doors to her closet every morning and seeing nothing but rack after rack of identical cheerleading uniforms. "Hmmmmmmmmm, what should I wear, what should I wear..."
I really liked last night's episode. It was cool to see DoppelStripper in action; think I like her a lot more than regular Stripper. And I'm really curious about where they're going to go with Micah.

I can't go near the TWOP threads for this - they think Doppel Niki is Micah's father. Um, what?
I definitely think it's a Jekyll/Hyde thing, and maybe the mirror doesn't mean anything except she's seeing her true self. Was the elevator mirrored? Because it doesn't look like Doppel Niki came out of a mirror or anything.
They are way too technical over there with the comic book/sci fi references.

Ha, I was just reading the TWoP thread and shaking my head. How the fuck would doppelNiki be Micah's father? Hello? WE MET DL'S MOTHER. Who is a very much real and alive BLACK WOMAN. Suggesting that DL is a very much real and alive BLACK MAN.
Christ. Talk about trying to make things more complicated than they really need to be. When Niki said 'If you ever threaten our son again' she clearly meant herself and regularNiki, since she's demonstrated several times already that's she's fully aware of regularNiki and what happens in regularNiki's life.
Edit: Augh, and now there are people posting why Niki is even on the show, she doesn't have a superpower just a mental illness. Did they not notice her beating the crap out of the thug in the elevator? Or how she took out TWO thugs in the garage in a particularly brutal way? Hello! Your average internet stripper can't practically tear a body in half! Or throw a 200 pound man across an elevator!
