Did anyone watch this week? I thought it took a big nosedive. The setups were really sitcommy. I wonder if NBC is making Tina dumb it down or if that's really all she's capable of.

I watched it and agree it wasn't nearly as funny (or fresh) as the premiere episode. That said, I adore Alec Baldwin (on screen, not off) and Tracy Morgan, who I never paid much attention to before this show, cracks me UP! I'll keep watching.

I caught a couple episodes on Bravo last week, and I gotta tell ya, I LOVE it. (Full disclosure: I know Jack McBrayer, who plays the page, and so I'm a little biased, because he's a doll in real life.)
I really only laugh out loud at a few shows, but this had me actually guffawing loudly. Tracy and Alec are hilarious, and I think Tina does a pretty good job too. Jane I could take or leave, but overall, it's great stuff.

I laughed my ass off at the poker game--his interactions with Alec Baldwin are insane "But you'll always be a pig fahmer's son which is why you reek of fried baloney" *Page slowly sniffs hands*. And that last line about "In five years he'll either be in charge of us all or we'll be dead at his hands." Good times.

He kind of reminds me of Rik Mayall from The Young Ones.

Live every week like it's shark week indeed.
I missed a few weeks but caught this one.
They called Ann Coulter 60! HAHAHAHAHA! Oh and they totally mocked Studio 60 and the "walk and talk." Double HAHAHA.
Also, having a one minute dance party is totally something I've done.
It's not always laugh-out-loud funny but it's strange and intriguing nonetheless. And sorry Grey's Anatomy, come Nov. 30th, the combo of Scrubs/Office/30 Rock/Earl (or whatever the correct lineup is) makes me NBC's submissive. Besides, you repeat on Fridays, right? (Ugh, if they repeat during BSG, I'm screwed).
The Page is such a great character and actor.

Add me to the mob of Page Love. Last night's ep when he gets caught on the fence of Yankee Stadium and tells a scurrying rat "Go get help, girl"? Slayed me.

Then the camera shot of the rat with the jaunty music that made it seem like it actually might go get help!?
Priceless.
(Wait, narratively we knew that he *did* in fact get the Nachos. So the rat might've have helped him, in fact. Awesome.)
The music is really good but sometimes feels a little out of place, tonally, on this show. I love the opening credits, especially so. Bring back cool credits sequences, people!

Thursday nights are KILLING me. The one night that I always teach yoga and I have Ugly Betty, Earl, Greys, and soon to have this and my favorite sitcom, Scrubs? My tifaux is going to overheat!
