Jane is so good on this show and really, Tina just keeps getting better and better. I'm going to miss this show so much.

I was just catching up on Hulu, and I cannot believe they killed off Colleen! I don't know if maybe Elaine Stritch didn't want to do the show anymore, but I am bummed there won't be any more Colleen. She was a little ray of grouchy, judgmental sunshine. <end spoiler>
But, I am glad there'll be no more Hazel because I fucking hated that character.

Hazel was the Cousin Oliver of 30 Rock. I actually stopped watching episodes when it looked like she'd be in them. Salma Hayak is happy that her character is no longer considered the least funny thing to ever happen to the show.

I think Hazel had the potential to be funny, but it wasn't executed well.
I think I'm the only person on the planet who didn't hate Salma Hayek's character.

I didn't hate Salma's character. It was just that she wasn't funny. She was seldom given any funny lines and Salma didn't have the comic chops to deliver them in the same rhythm as the rest of the show.

I didn't hate Salma's character, but she didn't really fit in on the show. She was very out of place.

I really didn't like Tracy or Jenna when the show first started but I came to appreciate them. Hazel didn't work. What happened to robot guy, I sort of liked him. I just remembered I miss Community but that's for a different thread. |
