I am thinking Harry must have gotten advice about Dexter from her when he was a kid... maybe she helped Harry put together the code. I guess she could have been his mistress too since we already know that Harry had affairs (Dexter's mom). It will be interesting to see Dexter have what appears to be a mother figure this season. She really creeps me out though!

I am more interested to see what happens with Deb, though. I gasped when the season preview showed her at the station saying she needed to make a confession.

That's what I'm thinking too, that it was either her idea or she helped him put it together. I'm actually looking forward to the rest of the season now.

Sorry for the double post, but it has been almost a week.

The last shot of the episode gave me chills with the look on Dexter's face. He's been doing the show for so long now, I forgot how good Michael C. Hall really is.

If the big twist this season is that Vogel is the killer, that will be super lame.

I think maybe she's telling one of her patients to do these killings. That way she can see how Dexter's mind works on solving these cases. She's as crazy as the killers!

The last episode "What's Eating Dexter Morgan", I found to be lame and filler. Its only redeeming quality was Jennifer Carpenter's performance. She does drunk and miserable extremely well. I could feel her hangover and regret through the TV!
Did anybody else get a bad feeling about Dr. Vogel staying with Deb at Deb's house after Dexter dosed Deb? The camera lingered on Dr. Vogel picking up Deb's prescription pills and I thought, "oh crap, an OD would be a convenient and plausible way to get rid of Deb and keep Dexter safe." Except for the part where (I think) Dexter would go batshit crazy on Vogel for that.

Yeah...that whole situation is shaping up to be nasty. Deb is going to be so pissed off that her rage-explosion will be epic in scope.

I think Vogel is going to turn out to be worse than her patients. Yet again the writers set Dexter up to think someone finally gets him, only to learn they're worse than he is.

Poor Deb. Give Jennifer Carpenter the Emmy already.

And I'm guessing that the people at the Daily Mail who wrote the story have never ever watched the show:
