I watched and realized afterwards that I did not breathe during that entire scene. Holy freaking shit. It just guts me that this is the last season. Watching The Wire really makes you realize what utter crap most tv shows are.

zacandmax, thanks for clearing that up. I should probably not attempt to write essays and watch HBO shows at the same time.

Interesting that both actors who play Omar and Marlo are from Brooklyn in real life. I hope Marlo ends up in prison and Avon totally takes him out.

I am going to be pissed if he doesn't get got (I love saying that lol) but this being The Wire who knows what will happen. Aside from those who are spoiled already of course. I really am dying to find out what is going to happen but this show is just too damn good not to let if unfold on it's own. I feel guilty enough watching On Demand a week early.

There's an interview with Michael K. Williams (Omar) on NPR where they try to get what's going to happen out of him, but he ain't budging. Found the Interview.

Oh, that interview is on Facebook as well.
I just got to the part on Season One where *Kima gets shot.* I totally forgot how tense that made the season.

I'm not reading a word of this thread because I'm only halfway through season three (DVDs), but I love this show. I love how I'm wondering if Stringer will kill Avon or Avon will kill Stringer. The only thing I'm not looking forward to is Dennis/Cutty dying, because I know it's coming. I'm not spoiled, but it's pretty obvious he'll be gone by the end of the season.
There's also a good deal of nostalgia for me since I used to live in B-more. I even sent an e-mail around my office once with the subject "5-0" because I'd just seen a big speed trap on the JFX.

But MWG, steel yourself for the horrible day when the dvds run out. I just finished season 4 and don't have HBO.
