I just discovered this one last week and now has replace VH1 Classic for my music video watching.. This is what a video music channel should be. From Bob Marley to The Cure to The Killers is being played and WITHOUT annoying VJS or 14 years old screaming a shout out.
Anyone else watch this?

Yeah, I've seen it a few times but wasn't sure exactly what it was. It comes on one of the high numbered digital channels on my Comcast and for some reason I thought it was a local cable access or college channel? Guess not.
Do they play mostly 80's stuff, because the couple times I've seen it that's what's been on. In any case, anything, up to and including trench mouth, is better than MTV.

It seems like they play way too much Blue Man Group. I'm just saying.
It's decent, but a little TOO freeform for my liking.

I just keep skipping around from the Tube, to VH1 classics and MTV hits and even then I have a hard time finding a good video. I am glad that I came across this station though because it gives me a better chance of finding a video that doesn't include whiney Beyonce.

Whenever I watch it, it freezes or skips. My sister has the same problem at her house. Anyone else? Or is it a (shitty) Comcast problem?

Actually, the picture and sound quality are great. As noted above, there are no VJs!!! yay. Commercials are a different matter. Here they seem to come up very frequently. Guess it depends on carrier/location? Or maybe it's more to do with the fact that I watch late night and early AM. Still, it's way cool to see Don Henley's Boys of Summer, Warren Zevon with Bruce Springsteen, Plant with Page, and Dolly Parton/Norah Jones duet all in the space of an hour or so. The Alicia Keys? Not great, but I'll let that one slide.  |
