I thought Brad Pitt sucked major ass in the Thanksgiving episode. The man cannot do comedy. And I thought he was great! I loved when he did the "hair flip."

The hair flip was pretty awesome. I had to go watch the episode on YouTube after it was discussed here.

HA! And I think Brad Pitt should only do comedic parts.
I remember that, and I thought it was such a shame because I floved Reese on Friends.
Talking about their father cutting her off:
Rachel trying to talk Jill out of dating Ross after inadvertently talking her into it:
Another favourite episode is when Joey reads Little Women. "Man! These little women!"

Seriously? People actually thought he was funny? I thought he was SO stilted and awkward.

I caught about five minutes of "The One Where Emma Won't Stop Crying" today, and they cut out the best lines for syndication! After Joey punches Ross in the eye and then Ross breaks his hand punching a post accidentally instead of Joey, Joey is helping him fill out a form in the hospital. They kept the "Well, I thought 'Ross' might be short for something" lines, but they cut out Ross's lines in this exchange (I'm paraphrasing from memory):
Joey: Profession: dinosaurs. Ross: I'm a paleontologist. ... 'Dinosaurs' is fine. ... The picture is not!
That was the best part of the episode!

I thought Brad was so funny! He was all twitchy and bitter, and I think his character was supposed to be awkward. Joey: Profession: dinosaurs. Ross: I'm a paleontologist. ... 'Dinosaurs' is fine. ... The picture is not! That was the best part of the episode! Ah, I loved all episodes where they made fun of Ross' profession. To quote Rachel, "Oh sure Ross, if I have a heart attack in a restaurant, I want you there with your fossil brush."

I can't remember what the episode was, but Phoebe was talking about how all six of them have some special talent or dream. She says, "And Ross! He works with dragons!" Ross says "Phoebe! It's Dinosaurs!" And she just shrugs breezily and says, "Eh. Tomatoes, tomahtoes."
But I agree with others that the pet rat thing was a little too much.
Oh! And another Phoebe one where, through the whole episode she and Ross are going back and forth and Ross is really starting to freak because Phoebe doesn't believe in evolution. He tries assailing her with logic and known facts. Finally she makes a big speech to him about "Look at the things the world believed in firmly for years, but they were eventually proven wrong. Can't you admit you might actually be wrong?" So he looks shame-faced and admits that maybe he can admit that he's not absolutely right, but it was a trap -- and she immediately starts mocking him for not standing firmly by his beliefs and she tells him she can no longer respect him.
And I'll cast my vote: I thought Brad Pitt was funny in the Thanksgiving episode. "Look at her, over there, with her yams!" And when she giggles and says to Monica, "Look, he's mouthing things to me!" but from the audience point of view you can see that what he's mouthing is "I hate you! I hate you!"

Seriously? People actually thought he was funny? I thought he was SO stilted and awkward. ...and monotone and unconvincing. He sounded like he was in a middle-school play. but I thought the episode was hilarious. Especially Phoebe's reaction to him.
