Is anyone watching this show? It's about a Chicago based wizard who works as a P.I. and an unofficial consultant to the Chicago P.D.
I like this show more with each episode. Paul Blackthorne is great as the anti-hero Harry Dresden. But my favorite character is Bob who is a ghost that lives in a skull in Harry's house.
This show is in the vein of Charmed only it's more intelligent, funnier, and has better production values.

I caught a few episodes and I'll be watching to fill the void left by the BSG hiatus. I haven't read the books but now I'm interested in reading them.
I like Harry's hockey stick. And Bob.

Huh. I saw this thread and thought this might be a show about the German city of Dresden. Oops.

I've read all the books and the first few episodes really disappointed me. But the last two episodes have really improved. I'm enjoying the show even though so many things have changed from the book tot he small screen.

piscessiren, I second the magical hockey stick and Bob love. I've caught a few episodes, usually when they do mini-marathons on Friday nights. Dresden is becoming my third-favorite thwarter of evil (after Dean and Sam Winchester, of course).

I like this show, I've watched every episode so far. It doesn't hurt that I've been reading the books for the past few weeks too. I hope the guest role from Claudia Black doesn't jinx the show.

I actually watched a Supernatural (with guest star Tricia Helfer of BSG) and I thought it was good and the eye candy doesn't hurt. Will definitely watch again. I really like Paul Blackthornes' voice. And he's English? ;D

Just now I saw a commercial for it and was like "I like that show---it's like Charmed but without Alyssa Milano". They should just put that in the ads. I didn't even know it's from a book---caught an episode a few weeks ago and watched it purely for the Chicago connection. I've only seen 2 episodes but I'm thinking of trying to get all of the rest of them somehow (itunes?)

I like the show, its interesting. I did try to read the books, but the first one just bored me, so I'm not going to be going for books 2 or 3.
