I just saw a trailer for the season finale. So which is it showrunners?

Spoilers:
Is Brennan a robot that can't feel? Or is she so emotional that she can't handle the stresses of her job anymore? Make up your minds because having nightmares in one episode doesn't really lay down a solid foundation for an emotional breakdown.

What bugged me the most is that during the whole trial, they're only in one outfit apiece. So all those witnesses, forensic evidence, closing arguments, and verdict were accomplished by 5p.m.?

I don't know why that's the one thing about that ridiculous episode that bothered me the most, but it completely grated everytime they cut back from the lab and there they all were back in their court ensembles. (And were the going back and forth between the lab/running all those tests and then testifying about them the same day? Or was that some sort of poorly explained flashback structure?)

The show really seems to have declined in quality. But I did like the "More You Know" ripoff with Boreanaz reassuring people that life is never as bad as it seems.

I chuckled. When he was doing his spiel I thought about the scandal.

This ep did have some weird continuity. I assumed that they were doing the lab stuff, and the courtroom testimony was interspersed to move the story along, but not necessarily correct timewise.

I did notice when Booth went to Brennan's apartment in the shot of her face she had her head on the right side of him, and then from his perspective, her head was on his other shoulder!

Also, in the part at the bar after the testimony, but before the closing arguments, I thought that was at nighttime, but then they're back in the courtroom in the same outfits with light coming in from the windows for the closing arguments! I didn't bother to go back to look so maybe I'm wrong on that.

Also, I hate Carolyn's "blousy" clothing. I understand that she's larger, but I still think she should/would probably dress in appropriate suits for court. And, I thought the "gravedigger" actress- is it Deidre Lovejoy?- was attractive the first few seasons of the Wire, but she has just been looking so jowly lately! I guess that might not be her fault though...

I noticed the continuity problems with the clothes last night too, but overall I didn't think the episode was bad. I did think that Hodgin's reaction to everything was a little out of nowhere though. We haven't seen him struggle with this any time leading up to this episode. They really did ratchet up the suspense in the case, I thought it could have gone either way.

And about last week, love that Angela and Hodgins got married!

I'm bummed that Sweets and Daisy broke up, they were such a cute couple. I'm assuming the next season premiere will jump ahead a year.

I was expecting the flash forward to end the episode. Something like Booth comes back with no legs and Brennan is pregnant. And then by the time the premiere rolled around, they'd just totally forget it, because that's how random this show is lately.

The very best part of this episode was Hodgins yelp when he turned around and saw Angela's dad. That? Hilarious.
