I've seen pics of her in the last couple months of her pregnancy (I'm too lazy to post them right now) and she did indeed gain 60lbs at least. She was huuuuuge.

I wish she hadn't pulled out that "fast metabolism" bullshit. It's just not true. I've also read quotes of her saying that she had to work her ass off to lose the weight, and that she would work out like six hours a day and sit on the treadmill and cry. I just don't think that's healthy. A woman should not have a c-section and then force herself to lose 60lbs in three months to the point where she's sobbing on the excercise equipment. I'm not even going to go into detail my feelings on the ridiculous contradicting qoutes that cheating is unaccptable, but if her husband cheats it's okay as long as she doesn't know. I don't expect their marriage to last too much longer, even though she seems like she'd do absolutely anything to make it work.

There used to be a woman on The Board That We Do Not Speak of who actually went to high school with Kate (I think Green Kermina was her handle). She regaled us with lovely stories about what a bitch Kate was and how Kate was not involved with her high school drama group, so Kate clearly got her roles based on her parentage.

Just when I think there is no celebrity I could hate more than Goldie Hawn, her daughter pops up with a bitchy interview like this.

God, I love that picture. I remember seeing it on the old board someone saying she looked like a troll. Now every single time I hear of Kate Hudson I immediately think of her trollface.

Wow, she does not come off well in that article. I still love her, though. I can't help it. I know it's a VERY unpopular opinion around here, and I must admit that some of the things she's been quoted as saying have really put my Kate love to the test, but I just can't help but like the girl. It must be my Almost Famous love that prevents me from abandoning her (I love Cameron Crowe, and Almost Famous is one of my favorite movies EVER). If the Guardian article had been about another celebrity, I probably would have written he/she off (well, unless this was the only time they had appeared bitchy in print), but since it's about Kate, I find myself wanting to make up excuses for her (and to be fair, she's never come across this way in any other interview that I have read) I am sick, I guess.

Yeah, Dylan isn't just a professor, but someone she "experienced"...who the hell talks that way? Either you've met someone or learned something from them or listened to their records, you don't "experience" them. Sheesh. She takes the hippie thing just too far. If she weren't such a snot, I would think she was just an airhead. But being both is a most unfortunate combination.
